Amid a year of dodging divorce rumors, new reports claim Kanye and Kim Kardashian West have been living 'separate lives.' News of this comes as the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star continues to publicly advocate for prison reform while Kanye has remained out of the public eye since his failed presidential campaign.
Kim and Kanye have had a pretty trying year marriage wise. Things appeared to take a turn after Kanye launched his bid for the presidency back in July. At the time, many didn't take his campaign too seriously. But, the following month he held his only rally in South Carolina where he offended his wife after he shared private information about their first pregnancy with daughter North West. Paparazzi followed the couple during tense arguments that showed Kim filled with tears. In addition, Kanye went on a series of Twitter rants where he called out his wife and mother-in-law Kris Jenner and accused them of keeping him in "the sunken place." While divorce rumors swarmed the couple, Kim remained by his side despite never publicly showing support for his campaign. Since losing the election, Kanye has drawn back into seclusion with periodic tweets about his plans to open a school and other random projects in music and fashion.
However, new source reports claim that though the superstar couple is still together, they “very much live separate lives.” Insiders have been dishing on how their work is keeping them from working on their marriage. “Kim has work and projects that are important to her, and Kanye has his,” a source told People. “Their lives don’t overlap much.” When it comes to the KKW Beauty founder's advocacy work, “Kim seems happy” and is “very focused on work and causes,” the source added. “She strongly believes she can make a change when it comes to prison reform. This is her passion. Her family is very proud of her.” She most recently took to social media to urge her followers to contact President Trump in an attempt to halt the execution of Brandon Bernard. However, despite her public pleas, she was, unfortunately, unable to persuade Trump and the US District Court of the Southern District of Indiana to stop his death sentence.

Meanwhile, Kanye has made a shift after putting himself into the spotlight during his failed campaign. He most recently made headlines after it was revealed he was being sued for unpaid funds owed to a group of staffers who worked on one of his Sunday service productions. Just ahead of that, fans made a mockery of his newest Yeezy slides set to release. Kim had posted a video to her Instagram Story showing off her husband's latest Yeezy slippers. But, many fans compared them to a popular Mexican snack.
During his campaign, Kim never showed any public support for voting for her husband. But, she did reportedly like a tweet posted by Kanye's good friend Kid Cudi where he showed his support for Joe Biden. The latest reports around their marriage could just be speculation. Maybe she'll update fans on KUWTK's 2021 move to Hulu.
