During part two of The Real Housewives of Potomac reunion, fans felt Andy Cohen's questions were set against Monique Samuels and were not impartial at all.
This past season, Monique got into a physical altercation with fellow RHOP castmate, Candiace Dillard Bassett. Since the fight, Candiace has been unable to forgive Monique for her actions. While Monique does feel remorse for getting physical with Candiace, she also tried to explain how she got to that place. A majority of her castmates did not care to hear her side, and it seemed Andy was against her as well.
Fans are taking issue with reunion host Andy after his questions seemingly were set against the 37 year old. The second part of the RHOP reunion focused on the season arcs for Monique and her only confidants on the cast, Karen Huger and Ashley Darby. The reunion mostly focused on the events that led to Monique and Candiace's fallout, as well as the explosive fight that happened well over a year ago. Andy had Monique face some intense questions that were supposedly submitted by fans. As they went over the events of the fight, Monique's other castmates, Candiace, Robyn Dixon, Gizelle Bryant, and Wendy Osefo, all agreed her memory of the fight was a lie. Luckily, production replayed the footage for fans and it seems Monique may have been vindicated.
The footage clearly shows the gesture Monique said Candiace made, which she said set her off. Monique even tweeted out, “Ooop!! Thanks Production #replay #rhop,” with a red heart emoji after the footage was played. The clips revealed at the reunion set off fans of RHOP and had them leaving comments under video clips on the Instagram page of The Peach Report Daily. Fans seemed to be very upset about the questions Andy chose to ask. “I don’t like how one sided the questions are Andy really was pissing me off,” said one user. “I don’t like how they were trying to gaslight Monique on tonight’s episode. Shame on Andy tonight. I’m glad production backed up what Monique said." another commented.
For the most part, fans were upset the questions asked were completely against Monique and in favor of Candiace in terms of the fight. The questions seemed to try and make Monique out to be a liar, which the women on the show have also been trying to portray her as. Will Monique be able to vindicate herself during the third part of the RHOP reunion? Hopefully, Andy is a little more impartial during this next round of questioning.
