Former The Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe has been treated unfairly by some fans, but she recently chose not to mince words when a fan had questions about her changing appearance. It’s been over five years since Kaitlyn served as the lead of the show, so it’s no surprise that she’s changed ever since. However, some viewers still hold her to an unrealistic standard, and the former Bachelorette doesn’t have time for their judgment. The Bachelorette season 11 followed the usual formula of a months-long romance capped off with a showstopping engagement. After Kaitlyn chose to be with Sean Booth at the finale, however, things were anything but formulaic. Alas, she recently had to take to Twitter, where a fan had questions about her evolving appearance. “Can anyone tell me what’s different about @kaitlynbristowe look? I can’t put my finger on it,” the fan mused on Twitter. “6 years since I was on the show, Brow lift, brow micro blading, got my teeth bonded, some filler In my lips, aging, darker hair, and I finally learned how to contour. Oh and I put on some weight,” Kaitlyn clapped back. In the past, Kaitlyn has been known for slamming negative comments, and this was no exception.
It’s been many years since Kaitlyn was on The Bachelorette, and besides the cosmetic work she’s had done (which is entirely her business and no one else’s), Kaitlyn has also been through a lot of changes in her years since the show. Kaitlyn recently got engaged to Jason Tartick from Becca Kufrin’s season, and she seems to be doing better than ever. “Don’t forget that you met the love of your life, opened multiple companies, and won DWTS. That joy leaves a mark,” a fan replied to her on Twitter.
Leads of The Bachelorette, and women in general, are often under enormous pressure to maintain the same appearance, no matter how many years have passed. It’s been several years since Kaitlyn was on the show, and she still looks amazing, regardless. Kaitlyn has been through a lot and is in a much different place than she was in 2015. It’s no surprise that she looks different - Kaitlyn has grown into an accomplished, confident, and fulfilled woman, and that would make anyone’s look evolve.
