As fans anticipated the Keeping Up With The Kardashians reunion, exclusive behind-the-scenes secrets were revealed about the show and cast. During the show's 20 seasons, the family ran a tight ship to ensure personal family information was not to be shared with the public. The Kardashian-Jenner clan spilled their own secrets in the reunion special, hosted by Andy Cohen. This was the family's first-ever reunion in the history of the show.
If there's one thing you can say about the famous family, it's that they kept it very real while filming KUWTK. From arrests, divorces, and Kourtney literally pulling her son Mason out during labor, they allowed viewers into the most intimate moments of their lives. One of the most private moments showcased during the series was the transition of Caitlyn Jenner. After 14 years of filming, the Kar-Jenners considered the production and camera crew family. In an episode of the current season, Kim Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Khloe Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian fought back tears as they told their crew that the show was coming to an end.
Keeping Up With The Kardashians executive producer Farnaz Farjam revealed behind-the-scenes secrets in a recent interview with Variety. Although the family was very candid and open during the duration of the show, some things were hidden from the cameras. The producer said Kylie Jenner not only hid her pregnancy with her daughter, Stormi, from the world, but she also kept it a secret to the crew. “She found out she was pregnant while she was filming ‘Life of Kylie.’ We didn’t know. She hid it from the cameras.” Farjam also said that Khloe Kardashian's feelings were continuously hurt as tabloids "bullied her." He even recalled Khloe having more confidence in the earlier seasons of the show in comparison to the last. "I don’t know why and I hope she gets it [her confidence] back because she’s so beautiful and has such a big heart and she is so thoughtful.”

Since working on KUWTK from the beginning, Farjam prided himself and the crew for never leaking family information to the press. When talking about times information was leaked, the producer said, "Eventually, [the family] would find out that it had nothing to do with our team, but when things would leak, of course, it’s natural for them to think the people who are watching them very closely could be the ones that are talking. But it wasn’t.” Without disclaiming who the sources were that often leaked information, Farjam said that it was often members of their "inner circle." In addition to watching the family closely, the crew spent an extreme amount of time with the modern-day Brady Bunch. Most seasons averaged eight months of filming, although a few seasons filmed for an entire year. "[When we out with them at night] we started around noon and shot with them until, like, 2 a.m. if we were going to Vegas or it was going to be a late night.”
Keeping Up With The Kardashians may be coming to an end, but viewers can continue to keep up with the fam. Most of the Kar-Jenners have an active social media presence, so they won't be missed too much. Now that the show is over, maybe fans can get real-time life updates of their favorite siblings rather than having to wait for than upcoming season of the show.
