Since Erika Jayne joined The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, she and Lisa Rinna have created a close friendship that has been envied by many. The women met for the first time on-screen at the start of season six when Erika was introduced to the group through former cast member Yolanda Hadid. At the time, Lisa wasn't on the greatest of terms with Yolanda after Lisa accused the Netherlands native of having Munchausen syndrome. Despite what Lisa said, she and Erika managed to establish a friendship built to last a lifetime.
Lisa Rinna joined the popular Bravo series one season before Erika. She quickly became an icon in the series for her self-proclaimed "big mouth" and her ability to always "own it." When Erika first joined the cast, viewers had no idea the impact she would have on RHOBH. From her peculiar marriage to Tom Girardi (who she is now divorcing) to her budding music career, Erika Jayne is truly an enigma wrapped in a riddle and cash. However, it seems Lisa may have cracked the code on Erika, as their friendship has only gotten stronger since day one.
Lisa and Erika were friendly during season six, but they didn't start to become close until season seven. Their close friendship was evident after Lisa stood by Erika during her feud with the newcomer at the time, Dorit Kemsley. Erika even supported Lisa when she made a comment about Kim Richards' sobriety to Eden Sassoon, who was a "friend of" on the show. During season seven, Lisa and Erika developed trust with one another, creating an unbreakable loyalty. Not once has Lisa gone up against Erika, or vice versa, since season seven. Even when Lisa was clearly in the wrong for claiming Denise Richards was "gaslighting" the group when denying her affair with Brandi Glanville, Erika backed Lisa in the argument.
Besides their loyalty to one another, Lisa and Erika always have fun together. Whether it's sharing their thoughts on how many times a year one should have a hot dog or accidentally wearing the exact same dress during a get-together, these ladies know how to have a good time and make each other laugh. They have also taken solo trips together on the show without the other women. When Lisa's daughter had to go to Japan for work, Erika tagged along and spent some quality time with her friend. There were no awkward pauses or moments of silence because Erika and Lisa always have something to chat about.
While some fans question the authenticity of Lisa and Erika's friendship, it seems these two ladies have built a genuine bond with each other. In the past, Lisa has said some unforgivable things about her castmates, but Erika still stands by her. Other people would have completely discarded the friendship and developed allies with other cast members. However, Erika has stood by Lisa through thick and thin, and it seems Lisa is doing the same now that Erika is in the middle of a lawsuit regarding embezzlement. When two people are loyal and know how to have a fun time together, that is the definition of friendship goals.
