A new season of Call of Duty: Warzone has just begun and with it comes new map locations, challenges, and all the trappings players have come to expect from Call of Duty’s entry into the Battle Royale genre. Littered across the map right now are several crashed satellites. Not only are they cool visual features for the battleground, but they are also tied to several in-game challenges.
The satellites don’t show up on the tac map, but they are large structures that are pretty visible when in range. This is good, because uplinks, another new component this Season tend to spawn near the crashed satellites. However, without the location of the fallen space debris, starting the challenges won’t be possible. Below are the locations where each of the crashed satellites can be found.

There are four massive satellites around the map to track down. Players shouldn’t have a hard time finding them once they close in.
- Bloc 16 – Once at Bloc 16, head toward the Airport Control Tower, the crash site should be easily viewable from that location.
- Bloc 18 – Head toward the northeast of the map. It’s in the middle of nowhere, equidistant from Salt Mine, Lumber Yard, and the Array. It’s actually the hardest to find because there aren’t any major landmarks nearby.
- Gora Bridge – Head to the south-central part of the map and Gora Bridge, which is between Promenade East and Downtown. The satellite has literally crashed into the bridge. Part of the debris sits on the bridge itself, while the rest fell to the aqueduct below.
- Krovnik Farmland – At the very eastern edge of the farm, a giant crater has destroyed a lot of the crops. This crater was made conveniently enough by a giant satellite crashing into the farm from several miles in space.
As far as the uplinks are concerned, there isn’t a defined spawn location for any of them. Though they have a few locations where they regularly appear, it’s not guaranteed that they will spawn during a given match. Several of the locations for the uplinks appear to be near the crashed satellites, so players should use that to their advantage. While they’re picking up loot amongst the wreckage of the major crashes, they should keep an eye out for the uplinks.
Interacting with an uplink, once found, will drop in a smaller satellite. These smaller devices are filled with loot, and collecting loot from them counts toward completing the Launch Time challenge.
Season 4 of Warzone is filled with new locations to discover and tons of new challenges to complete. Even though the Season is still early, it looks like it could be one of the best!
Call of Duty: Warzone is available on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation.
