In Scarlet Nexus, the bond between characters can be potent, and the Saws Paws are in the way of getting an item to superpower it. Characters can get various gifts that will raise their bond levels, and some create stronger bonds than others. For the Saws Paws they hold the key in getting a gift to increase the bond level for Tsugumi Nazar. Tsugumi is only one of the various companions used, and her abilities are clutch in Scarlet Nexus.
Scarlet Nexus has a companion system where a player's companion can fulfill multiple roles. For example, one can play the part of the healer, another the role of the tank, and more. The stronger the bond they have with the main character, the stronger they become. There are multiple ways, including gifts, to strengthen the bond, such as doing bond episodes that unlock new and different storylines for each of the companions. Other methods to raise the bond level are having them join up in combat, having conversations with them, and replying to their brain messages.
Finding the Saws Paws will take a bit of doing, not unlike Brain Points, and there are a few steps to finding them. During Yutio Story Standby Phase 4, head to Suoh City Ryujin Ward, and on the map, there will be a quest diamond towards the far right side of the area past the save point and the shop. There will be an opening to the right where a resource reading will be waiting along with a Security Chief Soldier. The soldier will give the quest called Eyes That See All.
Accept the quest and head to the Hirasaka Station. In the first room of the station will have a Saws Paws waiting. Leaving the area and coming back is an excellent game flaw to take advantage of to get a second one to complete the quest. If leaving the room and coming back for them to respawn doesn't work, another is inside the Abandoned Subway line. After defeating the Saws Paws, complete the quest and gain the Blank Plant Observation Journal. The Journal will give a medium bond boost which is worth it for only taking out two of the Saws Paws. A crucial part of the quest to kill the Saws Paws is that they can render themselves invisible. Getting SAS clairvoyance active is necessary to have engaged to kill them and get credit for the quest.
