Alleged leaks from Genshin Impact's Version 2.1 update are prevalent online. Despite miHoYo's attempt to prevent leakers from sharing information, these leaks for the new update continue to surface. Recently, La Signora of the Fatui is rumored to be a new weekly world boss during the 2.1 update. Signora's appearance in Inazuma could indicate her playing a larger role within the upcoming story.
La Signora, known as "The Fair Lady", is No.8 of the Eleven Harbingers of the Fatui. She first appeared in Genshin Impact during the end of Act Three of the Prologue, seen attacking Venti and stealing the Anemo Archon's Gnosis. Signora later appeared briefly with Zhongli at the end of the Liyue storyline. Not much is known about her past, but Signora has been portrayed as a ruthless villain. According to Tartaglia, La Signora is very strong and cunning - and also fond of using lethal force against her own subordinates.
The Fatui Harbingers are presented as antagonists within Genshin Impact. There is a possibility that players will eventually battle each one as the story progresses. Screenshot images indicating a La Signora boss battle surfaced shortly after the Version 2.1 beta. Recently, a leaked video showcasing the entire battle with Signora was spread online. The boss fight appears to take place within an Inazuma throne room, possibly indicating a connection between the Raiden Shogun (Baal) and the manipulative Harbinger. The gameplay footage also showcased La Signora's abilities.
The leaked gameplay from Genshin Impact indicates that La Signora has two forms, similar to the Childe boss battle in Liuye. During her first stage, she uses a Catalyst in battle and utilizes Cryo attacks. At the start of the fight, a freeze gauge that inflicts damage once the bar is complete will appear. This is a similar mechanic seen in the Dragon's Spine mountain. La Signora uses multiple Cryo abilities during the fight. Some attacks include throwing multiple ice projectiles at the characters, forming ice spikes on the ground, and teleporting throughout the area.
Once players defeat her first phase, Signora transforms into a more demonic form in the second battle. During this fight, her attacks change from Cryo to Pyro. This is comparable to the Tartaglia (Childe) boss battle previously seen in Genshin Impact, as he starts with Hydro attacks then switches to Electro during the second stage of the fight. La Signora uses many Pyro projectiles to attack players from afar. When characters are within range, she unleashes a fire whip dealing massive damage.
La Signora has been rumored to be a new weekly world boss once the Version 2.1 update arrives. It's possible that players will have to finish parts of the Inazuma storyline in order to unlock the battle, similar to previous weekly bosses. With the possible introduction of a new world boss, new skill materials will also likely be presented in the game. These materials could be necessary items to improve upcoming characters. Until miHoYo makes an official announcement about Genshin Impact's Version 2.1 update, players will have to wait before challenging the ruthless Fatui Harbinger.
