Kujou Sara is a member of the Kujou Clan of Inazuma, who serves the Raiden Shogun. She was briefly mentioned during Kazuha's story quest but was officially revealed in Genshin Impact's Version 2.0 Special Program. Shortly after the release of the 2.0 update, miHoYo announced Kujou Sara to be an upcoming playable character for Genshin Impact. Alleged leaks from the 2.1 beta were prevalent online, which showcased many of Sara's abilities.
Kujou Sara is known as the Tengu Warrior of Inazuma. She possesses an Electro Vision and uses a bow in battle. Her attacks are swift and precise, often being compared to a raven as her abilities leave traces of dark feathers behind. Sara will be a new 4-star character who players can attempt to roll for during Genshin Impact's Version 2.1 update.
Kujou Sara serves the Raiden Shogun with absolute loyalty, performing as both the Archon's bodyguard and an enforcer of the Vision Hunt Decree. It was revealed by Kazuha that Sara was responsible for defeating his friend in combat, who was then later executed by the God of Eternity. Her background and motives within the story remain unknown, but Sara will likely be a reoccurring antagonist in Inazuma.

Assuming the beta skills are the same for 2.1's full release, Kujou Sara's Normal Attack is known as Tengu Bowmanship and consists of five consecutive shots with her Bow. The Charged Attack is a precisely aimed shot that deals Electro damage to enemies. Her Elemental Skill, called the Tengu Stormcall, allows Sara to teleport backward a short distance as a way to retreat in battle, which is a very unique Talent in Genshin Impact. Upon activating the skill, she gains a Crowfeather Cover buff. By using her Charged Attack while the buff is active, a Crowfeather will be placed depending on where the attack landed. The ability will then set off the Tengu Juurai: Ambush, which deals Electro damage and temporarily increases ATK stats.
Sara's Elemental Burst, known as the Subjugation: Koukou Sentou, is a two-stage attack. She first uses the Tengu Juurai: Titanbreaker to deal AoE Electro damage from above. The Titanbreaker then splits into the Tengu Juurai: Stormcluster, which consists of smaller bolts of lightning that deal additional Electro damage. Her Elemental Burst will also temporarily increase the active character's ATK.
Kujou Sara has been rumored to be released on the same Banner as the Raiden Shogun. miHoYo usually releases a new update for Genshin Impact every six weeks, therefore both characters should arrive during the Version 2.1 update on September 1, 2021. Sara could be a great addition to a player's account, but until the new update arrives, fans will have to wait before attempting to pull the Tengu Warrior of Inazuma.
