Resources are what allow a Witcher to go from a Monster Hunter to a Monster Slayer in The Witcher: Monster Slayer. Resources are things like crafting materials, oils, potions, and bombs. Each of these items will help to better equip the Witcher for whatever enemies are hurled at them.
While resources are somewhat hard to come by, they are impossible to find. In fact, there are actually several ways a player can collect each of their resources or resource components. This means almost any player should be capable of collecting as many resources as they need.

There are four main methods to collecting resources and/or the components of said resources. Each one tends to offer more of one type than the other, but all will grant the player some resources. Of all these options, there should be at least one that every player can complete, no matter what their status is in the game. Here are the four main methods:
The Gifting System
- One of the easiest ways for a player to end up with extra resources is through the gifting system. This system allows players to collect gifts off of the bodies of enemies and send them to a friend. Players will need to find other fellow Witchers to use this system, however, it is the least time-consuming and offers a decent number of randomized resources.
Shaking the Bushes
- Another easy option for players who don't feel equipped to fight monsters or complete quests is locating bushes in the nearby area. They should be fairly easy to spot, and are harvested with a simple click. These will grant players a small number of herbs and roots.
Slaying the Monsters
- One of the main ways to collect resources in-game is by doing what Witchers do best, monster-slaying. Monsters will most often drop raw materials that can be used in the crafting system to make oils and bombs. Simply use the alchemy section within the crafting menu to brew something up.
Questing & Leveling
- Lastly, players can complete quests and level up their Witcher to receive resources. These rewards come alongside more special items, like new swords and gear. However, if a player is desperate for resources and doesn't believe they would survive another fight should look into one of the previously listed options.
The Witcher: Monster Slayer is an exclusive mobile game available now on Android and iOS.
