RHOP: Andy Cohen Remains Open to Monique Samuels Returning

Executive producer of The Real Housewives of PotomacAndy Cohen, revealed he is open to Monique Samuels returning. Samuels starred on The Real Housewives of Potomac for four seasons, debuting in the show's sophomore season. The wife of former football player Chris Samuels made a name for herself quickly by getting under the skin of the show's "It" girl, Gizelle Bryant. Samuels held the distinction of being one of the few cast members to actually own a house in Potomac, and the corresponding wealth resonated with Bravo fans.

Fans also enjoyed Samuels sharing her family life including a tense relationship with her mother-in-law, as well as a miscarriage. Samuels left the show ahead of its sixth season after getting into a physical altercation with Candiace Dillard Bassett in season five. The costars tried to sue each other, but the cases were dismissed. According to Cohen, fans of the Not For Lazy Moms podcast host may see her again in the future.

The housewives reunion host revealed he is interested in Samuels returning to the show. He believes her return would shock the Bravo audience. "I think Monique [Samuels] would be fun in Potomac" said Cohen to Entertainment Tonight about returning housewives. "I mean, people talk about Dorinda [Medley] or Lisa Vanderpump, [but] I always like a curveball," elaborated Cohen, "[I like] the people saying, 'What?! You're bringing back this person?!'" Cohen brought up the similarly shocking return of former housewife Heather Dubrow to The Real Housewives of Orange County franchise, so anything is possible.

Samuels has kept busy since her departure from reality television. The mother of three has remained active on social media and posted a number of videos to her YouTube channel. The most notable is a three-part series called Bindertime Stories, inspired by the iconic binder she brought to the season five reunion. The binder held receipts of her costars, including text messages of Bryant's ex-husband Jamal.

Samuels suffered a notable loss before the season six premiere and it wasn't her spot on the cast. Samuel's bird T'challa died in a freak accident, according to the star. The bird appeared on the Bravo series during its fifth season and quickly became a fan favorite.

The Real Housewives of Potomac moved on without Samuels and has been doing just fine. Mia Thornton replaced Samuels and has so far resonated with fans. Thornton has engaged in several fights and entertained the audience with her big personality. Maybe one day, we'll see Thornton and Samuels on screen together.
