A Grand Theft Auto Online fan has found a way to turn themselves into a bird and carry bombs using GTA Online's Peyote Plants, sharing their hilarious antics in a viral TikTok video. Grand Theft Auto Online lets players explore the open world of San Andreas and interact with other players and NPCs, and its freedom of play often provides fodder for viral memes.
Grand Theft Auto developer and publisher Rockstar Games is known for not shying away from including adult content in its games, whether that be the dark and often inappropriate humor of Bully or the violence and debauchery of GTA. Since the very beginning of the GTA series, fans have seen everything from colorful language to NSFW places players can stumble upon, such as GTA Online's version of the Playboy Mansion. One notable example of 18-plus content in GTA Online is Peyote Plants. Based on the real-life Peyote cactus and scattered throughout the world, the plants' psychoactive properties will turn the player into an animal in a mind-bending trip. The effects are temporary, with players transforming back into humans when killed, entering water, or when they decide to do so.
As reported by Dexerto, GTA Online player and TikToker jaycippedits has shared a now-viral video showcasing their bird character flying through the skies, dropping bombs on NPCs and unsuspecting players. After encountering one of GTA Online's Peyote Plants and transforming into a bird, jaycippedits equips a sticky bomb to cause chaos in the streets, with hilarious results. The TikTok clip has seen over a million views, amassing over 200,000 Likes from appreciative fans.

Though this trick makes for a relatively powerful GTA Online combat weapon, it may be a challenge to recreate. When coming across one of the game's Peyote Plants, players are not given a choice as to which animal they transform into, with the game deciding on the transformation based on animal sound the player hears as they get close to a specific Peyote Plant. Trying to find the right Peyote Plant to turn into a seagull to reenact the TikToker's viral video may take a few tries, but it's likely many will take on the challenge to cause havoc similar to the antics of the video.
Another issue with recreating the video is that GTA Online's Peyote Plants are unfortunately no longer in the game full-time, and only recently returned as part of the game's Halloween celebrations. While not always available, the plants are considered to be one of the most popular features of GTA Online, meaning they're likely to come in and out of the rotation for the foreseeable future. When Peyote Plants are available, the success of the viral video could mean players will see more menacing birds flying overhead in Grand Theft Auto Online.
