While fans await season 3 of The Family Chantel on TLC, show star Chantel has been busy working out and showing off the results. The former 90 Day Fiancé cast member capitalized off of her intense family drama to be one of the most successful franchise cast members. However, Chantel has her fair share of critics as she moves on in her spin-off show and reveals her fitness efforts on Instagram.
The 30-year-old Atlanta native has recently been called out for her excessive use of Instagram filters. Chantel’s bizarre appearance in her Instagram Stories has left viewers baffled as the wife of Pedro Jimeno blurs her nose to the point where it is barely visible. Meanwhile, not everyone is excited to see the Everett and Jimeno families returning to TLC after they filmed season 3 of The Family Chantel. Viewers have criticized the families for being dramatic and excessively argumentative. Many viewers want to see the 90 Day Fiancé franchise move away from its current content to once again focus on the K-1 fiancé visa process and feature relationships that are about more than just drama.
Chantel took to her Instagram to share a photo of her in a bikini at the beach. "I been up in the gym just working on my fitness he's my witness," she captioned the photo before tagging Pedro. Her Dominican Republic native husband has also been on a well-documented fitness kick after he gained a significant amount of weight once he joined Chantel in the United States and sampled plenty of American food. Chantel quickly racked up plenty of praise from her fans who were commenting hearts and flame emojis. Pedro and Chantel also revealed some graphic flirting as Pedro wrote to his wife, "what's for dinner " and Chantel wrote back "WAP WAP WAP." The wife of Pedro then wrote, "I guess hes gonna need a bucket or whatever....."
While many of Chantel's followers admired her figure, some voiced that the 30-year-old appeared too underweight as she didn't appear as slim when she was last seen on The Family Chantel. "Love you but go easy too hard too thin look. You looked great as you were darling," one fan wrote. "WAY TOO SKINNY," another person wrote. Others voiced criticism over Chantel constantly appearing to be on vacation when she stated she was a working nurse. "Can't she ever post any 'normal' pics? Maybe 1 where she isn't 3/4 naked?!?!" one critic wrote. Though the reality TV star did receive some criticism, the majority of her comments were celebratory and supportive.
Though Chantel has seen her popularity tank due to her typical sour attitude, she isn’t alone. While many critics come for her rude parents, her sister-in-law Nicole was recently called out for her bad attitude as well. Viewers have voiced that Nicole and her mother Lidia are not a welcome addition to the show, as both women can be annoying and dramatic. It appears that season 3 of The Family Chantel already has its fair share of critics despite the fact that an air date has yet to be announced.
