Aside from the recent rumors of divorce, Angelina Pivarnick and her husband Chris Larangeira have had a somewhat messy yet romantic relationship, some of which has been seen on Jersey Shore. When Angelina first started the show in 2009, she was dating a different guy. This relationship played a major role in Angelina's initial reasoning for leaving the Shore house.
The fans were not introduced to Chris until Angelina made her more permanent return on Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. The couple had first started dating in 2016, according to In Touch However, they had been friends for long before that. The two were actually just teenagers when they first met. They both worked different jobs at the same local mall. Looking back on it, Chris claims he never hit on Angelina because she always seemed to have a different boyfriend.
A few years had gone by before Angelina and Chris finally reconnected. It was when Chris invited Angelina to a party that their relationship began to change. The two started to hang out more often, spending more and more time together. In 2016 Angelina and Chris took things to the next level by making things official. They dated for two years before Chris proposed to her in 2018, not long before the premiere of Jersey Shore:Family Vacation. This was Angelina's third engagement.
After things began to calm down between Angelina and the rest of the Jersey Shore roommates following her shocking return, Chris made his first appearance on the show. Despite Angelina's odd love hate relationship with Vinny Guadagnino, Chris seemingly got along with everyone. Viewers got to watch along as Angelina prepared for her wedding day. She even asked Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Deena Cortese and Jenni “JWoww” Farley to be bridesmaids. Angelina and Chris tied the knot one year after getting engaged during an extravagant celebration in November of 2019. The wedding was seen on the show as well as the drama that unraveled following the girls’ infamous bridesmaids’ speech which ultimately led to Nicole quitting the show.
As the drama from the wedding has finally been resolved, Angelina and Chris are no longer living life on their honeymoon. Earlier this year, rumors began to swirl claiming that Angelina and Chris were headed for divorce. The couple had unfollowed each other on social media before later re-following each other. Chris even allegedly moved out of their shared home for a brief period of time. Fans began to get an inside look at the drama between Angelina and Chris during the first two episodes of the new season of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. Prior to the premiere, Angelina has revealed that the COVID-19 pandemic added much stress to their relationship. As of now, the couple is taking things day by day.
