Love Island: Josh & Shannon Thank Well-Wishers After Abrupt Exit

Josh Goldstein and Shannon St. Clair from Love Island thanked well-wishers after their abrupt exit. The pair told the Islanders that they would be leaving the show after Josh’s sister passed away. The couple arrived in Massachusetts on Saturday. They received a ton of support from the Islanders, the network, and fans.

Josh and Shannon were a match from day one on the Island. After a rough patch that came about when Josh kissed Aimee Flores, the former college athlete asked Shannon to be his girlfriend. Josh confessed on the show that his older sister was the reason he found Shannon on the Island. The athlete confessed, “She was the reason I'm here, the reason I found Shannon and met all you guys. It's unexpected, but she lived an unbelievable life.” The support poured in when the news broke of his sister’s passing. The show tweeted, “We send our love and condolences to Josh and his family from all of us at Love Island.” Fans sent their condolences too, leaving comments such as, I am so sorry for your loss. Your sister gave you both a gift. Take care of it.”
