Star Wars: 10 Best Original Trilogy Callbacks In The Prequels

When George Lucas set out to bring the Star Wars saga to the screen, he started the story in the middle with the fourth chapter. After the original trilogy was a hit, Lucas was able to helm another trilogy extrapolating the backstory of the Imperial era.

RELATED: The 10 Best Star Wars Prequel References In The Mandalorian

Going back to fill in the characters’ origins in a prequel trilogy allowed Lucas to use the inevitability of their dark fate as a dramatic tool. The prequels are also jam-packed with affectionate callbacks and references to their cinematic predecessors.

10 The Jedi Mind Trick

When Qui-Gon arrives at Watto’s junk shop to pick up the parts they need to repair Padmé’s royal starship, he tries to use the Jedi mind trick to convince Watto to accept Republic credits as currency – and it doesn’t work, because Watto’s species is immune to his Jedi powers.

“What, you think you’re some kind of Jedi, waving your hand around like that?” This scene is a hilariously anticlimactic throwback to the classic scene at Mos Eisley Spaceport with Ben Kenobi and the Stormtroopers in the 1977 original.

9 “I Have A Bad Feeling About This.”

Since the Falcon was drawn into the Death Star’s tractor beam, the line “I have a bad feeling about this” has been repeated in a different context in every Star Wars movie.

The line is used in the prequels when Obi-Wan arrives at the Trade Federation meeting with Qui-Gon at the beginning of The Phantom Menace, when Anakin is chained up in a gladiatorial arena in Attack of the Clones, and when both of them fly into a space battle in the opening scene of Revenge of the Sith.

8 Death Star Plans

The Death Star is the perfect symbol of the bureaucratic oppression that the Empire represents. Palpatine was planning to build a planet-destroying superweapon from the offset, as an early design for the Death Star can be seen at a Separatist conference in Attack of the Clones.

Vader and the Emperor later watch the beginning of construction on the Death Star at the end of Revenge of the Sith when their Empire is a newly established threat in the galaxy.

7 Asteroid Field

One of the most iconic and thrilling action sequences from the Star Wars saga is the TIE fighters chasing the Millennium Falcon through an asteroid field in The Empire Strikes Back. There’s a similar asteroid field chase between Obi-Wan and Jango Fett in Attack of the Clones. Unlike Obi-Wan, Han Solo didn’t have seismic charges to help him.

RELATED: The 10 Best Secondary Villains In Star Wars Movies

Obi-Wan hides out from Fett by landing his starfighter on an asteroid. This explains how Jango’s son and passenger Boba knows where Han is hiding when he parks the Falcon on the back of the Star Destroyer in The Empire Strikes Back.

6 “Join Me...”

Thanks to the Sith’s “Rule of Two,” Sith Lords are always looking for a buddy. When Count Dooku captures Obi-Wan in Attack of the Clones, he tells him, “Join me, and together, we can destroy the Sith.”

This line is a nod to a similar line that Vader says to Luke during their climactic duel in The Empire Strikes Back: “Join me, Luke, and together, we will rule the galaxy!”

5 Grand Moff Tarkin

Peter Cushing set the template for every Star Wars performance as a smarmy, ruthless Imperial bureaucrat with his iconic turn as Grand Moff Tarkin in the original 1977 movie.

A young Tarkin briefly appears alongside Vader and the Emperor toward the end of Revenge of the Sith as they oversee the construction of the Death Star. Before Rogue One’s CG technology existed to digitally graft Cushing’s face onto a new actor, young Tarkin was played by Wayne Pygram.

4 Jango Fett Bangs His Head

There’s a moment in the original Star Wars movie in which a Stormtrooper famously bumps his head on the ceiling of the Death Star. Since this blooper made it into the final cut, the clumsiness of Stormtroopers has become a canonical plot point.

In the prequels, Lucas took the opportunity to explain why this head-bump happened. In Attack of the Clones, Jango Fett – the genetic template for the Stormtroopers – bumps his own head on his way onto his ship after fighting Obi-Wan.

3 Tantive IV

At the end of Revenge of the Sith, when all the characters are getting into their starting positions for the original trilogy, C-3PO and R2-D2 are assigned to work on Tantive IV with Captain Antilles.

The hallways of this Rebel ship are familiar to Star Wars fans, as it’s where the audience finds the bickering droids at the beginning of the original trilogy when the ship is ominously boarded by Darth Vader and his Stormtroopers.

2 “Why Do I Get The Feeling You’re Going To Be The Death Of Me?”

Lucas is often criticized for his dialogue, but he sometimes uses it to sneak little pieces of foreshadowing into the narrative. In Attack of the Clones, Obi-Wan asks Anakin, “Why do I get the feeling you’re going to be the death of me?”

RELATED: Why Obi-Wan Vs. Anakin Is The Star Wars Prequel Trilogy's Best Lightsaber Duel

When Obi-Wan says this, it’s just a joke about Anakin’s recklessness after a high-speed chase over the streets of Coruscant. Little does he know, his apprentice will later turn to the dark side and strike him down.

1 The Millennium Falcon

The Millennium Falcon, arguably the most iconic ship in the Star Wars canon, can be seen flying into a hangar on Coruscant in Revenge of the Sith.

Since the Falcon only makes a brief cameo appearance, the audience doesn’t get to see who’s piloting it. Whoever it is, it’s not Han – this is long before he won the bucket of bolts from Lando in a rigged game of sabacc.

House of Gucci: Real-Life Family Call Ridley Scott Movie "Painful"

The real-life family from House of Gucci have described Ridley Scott’s film as being “extremely painful.” House of Gucci is an adaptation of a true story centering on the Gucci family and their internal battles for control over their iconic fashion brand. The crime-drama is Scott’s second film of 2021, following on from The Last Duel, which was positively reviewed, but a huge box-office flop.

House of Gucci has been praised for its sheer entertainment value, rather than the quality of its screenplay. The performance from Lady Gaga, who portrays the central character of Patrizia Reggiani, has been universally commended, with many critics suggesting that the mega-star is deserving of a second Academy Award nomination. Discussing her approach to starring in the film, Lady Gaga revealed that she relied on the controversial Method acting approach, retaining her character's accent even while off set.

Related: Why Ridley Scott's New Movie Is So Controversial

Now, in a statement shared by Variety, the real life Gucci family claim that Scott’s film presents an inaccurate portrayal of them that was "extremely painful" and an "insult to the legacy" of their brand. The statement criticises in particular the film’s portrayal of Patrizia Reggiani, describing her as the “instigator of the murder of Maurizio Gucci,” and denouncing the film’s “indulgent tone” towards her. The family’s statement also explains that they were not consulted during the production of the film. Check out the statement, translated from Italian, below:

The Gucci family takes note of the release of the film House of Gucci and is a bit disconcerted because, although the work claims to want to tell the “true story” of the family, the fears raised by the trailers and interviews released so far, are confirmed: the film carries a narrative that is far from accurate.

The production of the film did not bother to consult the heirs before describing Aldo Gucci – president of the company for 30 years – and the members of the Gucci family as thugs, ignorant and insensitive to the world around them, attributing to the protagonists, events, a tone and an attitude that never belonged to them. This is extremely painful from a human point of view and an insult to the legacy on which the brand is built today.

Even more objectionable is the reconstruction that becomes mystifying almost to the point of paradox when gets to the point of suggesting an indulgent tone towards a woman who, definitively convicted of having been the instigator of the murder of Maurizio Gucci, is painted not only in the film, but also in the statements made by cast members, as a victim who was trying to survive in a masculine and macho corporate culture.

This couldn’t be further from the truth. Moreover, over the course of it 70-year history during which it was a family business, Gucci was an inclusive company. Indeed, precisely in the 1980s – the historical context in which the film is set – women were in several top positions: whether they were members of the family or extraneous to it, these included the president of Gucci America, the Head of Global PR & Communication, and a member of the board of directors of Gucci America.

Gucci is a family that lives honoring the work of its ancestors, whose memory does not deserve to be disturbed to stage a film that is not true and that does not do justice to its protagonists.

The members of the Gucci family reserves every right to protect the name, image and the dignity of their loved ones.

The statement provides an interesting, alternative perspective on the film, and will give an answer to audiences who wondered what the reaction from the remaining Gucci family would be. Both Lady Gaga and Scott have previously expanded on the decision to avoid contact with the real life Gucci family. Lady Gaga turned down the opportunity to meet with the real Patrizia Reggiani before portraying her, saying that she did not want to “collud[e]” with her. Meanwhile, Scott denounced earlier criticism from the family that the film was exploiting their name and history in order to make a profit, stating that “one Gucci [family member] was murdered and another went to jail for tax evasion so you can't be talking to me about making a profit.

House of Gucci had a strong opening weekend for an adult drama in the pandemic era, and the film has been well-received by audiences, regardless of the Gucci family’s opinions. The results, amid the wider box-office context, indicate that take-ins are continuing to increase. The veteran director of the film isn’t taking a break to enjoy the film's successes, however. Scott recently confirmed that he was part of the development of TV adaptations of Blade Runner and Alien, and fans of Lady Gaga’s acting will be hoping that she can find her next role just as quickly.

Pokémon BDSP: How To Find (& Catch) Regigigas | Screen Rant

Players can find and catch Regigigas in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl, which debuted back in the original Pokémon Diamond & Pearl. The Sinnoh region is full of legendary Pokémon to discover, and many of them have unique methods to unlock. However, before players can get their hands on Regigigas, they first need to get the National Dex.

Players can obtain the National Dex after seeing every Pokémon within the Sinnoh Dex. After this, speak with Professor Rowan at Sandgem Town, and players will be given the National Dex as a reward. Getting the National Dex also adds a few significant changes to the world, including new areas to explore and new Pokémon spawns. Now that players have access to the National Dex, the next place they need to go to find Regigigas is in Ramanas Park.

Related: Every Shiny Hunting Method in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl

Ramanas Park is a new location that players can explore in Pokémon BDSP. It happens to be where Pal Park was in the original games and can be found on Route 221. After the player has completed the Sinnoh Pokédex, new caves will begin to spawn in Ramanas Park. To obtain Regigigas, players will need to find Regirock, Regice, and Registeel within these caves first.

To access these special caves in Ramanas Park, players will need to find special slates. These slates will be placed inside of a pedestal, and a legendary Pokémon will appear as a result. These legendary Pokémon will have Hidden Abilities as well. To get slates, players will need to buy them in exchange for Mysterious Shards within Ramanas Park, and the only way to find this item is by digging in the Grand Underground. Unfortunately, it is entirely random, and players might need to hunt around the Grand Underground for a while to get enough for a slate. To find Regirock, Registeel, and Regice, players will need to get Discovery Slates, which cost 3 Mysterious Shards to create.

After collecting enough Mysterious Shards to purchase the Discovery Slate, place it in the slot at Ramanas Park, and trainers will be teleported to the Discovery Room. Here, players will have access to all three of the Regi Pokémon, and they will all be Level 70. After capturing them all, return to Snowpoint City and enter the Snowpoint Temple in the northern section of town. Head to the bottom floor to find Regigigas as a statue and interact with it using Registeel, Regice, and Regirock to wake it up. It will also be at level 70, and now players just need to capture it using status ailment moves like Thunder Wave or Hypnosis as it increases the chances of capture.

MCU: The 10 Biggest Plot Twists In Phase Four (So Far)

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is known for its familiar, formulaic storytelling. Almost all of its movies and TV shows follow a traditional “hero’s journey” and culminate in a climactic battle sequence in which good triumphs over evil.

RELATED: 10 Most Exciting Things Coming In The MCU's Phase Four

But the franchise has still surprised audiences with twists like Liz being the Vulture’s daughter in Spider-Man: Homecoming and Thanos’ plan succeeding in Avengers: Infinity War. The most recent stage of the MCU, Phase Four, has brought a bunch of its own shocking twists and turns involving Agatha, the Sacred Timeline, and the Guardians of the Multiverse.

10 Taskmaster Is General Dreykov’s Daughter (Black Widow)

One of the main conflicts in Black Widow is whether or not “the ends justify the means,” which is explored when the identity of the villainous Taskmaster is finally revealed. In the comics, Taskmaster’s alter ego is Tony Masters, but in the movie, she’s revealed to be Antonia Dreykov, the daughter of General Dreykov.

As a young rogue agent, Natasha recruited Antonia to help her track down her father, then ordered an explosive strike within range of her. Under the guise of the Red Room’s go-to assassin Taskmaster, Antonia was able to seek revenge.

9 Ralph Bohner (WandaVision)

Marvel trolled fans on a massive scale with WandaVision’s “Ralph Bohner” twist. One of the series’ episodes ended with the jaw-dropping revelation of Evan Peters seemingly reprising his role as Quicksilver from another universe.

This hinted at a multiverse incorporating Fox’s X-Men movies. Then, when Agatha is revealed as the mastermind behind Wanda’s warped reality, Peters is just used for silly wordplay with the goofy name “Ralph Bohner.”

8 The TVA Is Looking For A Variant Of Loki (Loki)

In the first episode of Loki, the titular God of Mischief reluctantly agrees to help the TVA with its latest investigation and asks Mobius who they’re after. In the final moments of the pilot, Mobius tells him, “The variant we’re hunting is you.”

This is a great mind-bending sci-fi setup that also hilariously plays into the trickster god’s trademark narcissism. The twist introduces a female Loki, paving the way for Classic Loki, Kid Loki, and Alligator Loki to eventually be introduced.

7 Shang-Chi Murdered His Mother’s Killer (Shang-Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings)

Like many MCU movies, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is about family. The titular martial artist grapples with his family’s history of violence, revealed in flashbacks throughout the movie’s nonlinear narrative. Shang-Chi and his sister witnessed their mother’s murder, then Wenwu brought Shang-Chi to identify the gang members that did it and killed them with the Ten Rings in front of his son’s young eyes.

RELATED: Shang-Chi's 10 Best Action Sequences

It’s later revealed that, when Shang-Chi’s father sent him to assassinate his mother’s killer, he actually went through with it. It would’ve been easy to make him a straightforward hero who couldn’t go ahead with the killing. Now, he has to live with that guilt.

6 The Watcher Assembles The Guardians Of The Multiverse (What If...?)

Marvel’s first animated series, What If...?, broke its anthology format in the finale episode, “What If... the Watcher Broke His Oath?” This finale unified the show’s first season by pulling together Avenger variants from each episode to do battle with Infinity Ultron.

Together, Captain Carter, Star-Lord T’Challa, Strange Supreme, Party Thor, Black Panther Killmonger, and a Thanos-killing Gamora variant make up “The Guardians of the Multiverse.”

5 The Contessa Hires Yelena To Kill Hawkeye (Black Widow)

It seems that the new Black Widow won’t be on as fond terms with Hawkeye as the first one. Whereas Natasha was the best of friends with Clint Barton, Yelena has been sent to kill him.

In the post-Endgame post-credits scene of Black Widow, as Yelena mourns her sister’s death, she’s approached by Julia Louis-Dreyfus’ Val and recruited to track down Clint – who she blames for Nat’s death – as her next target.

4 The U.S. Government Tested The Super Soldier Serum On Black Soldiers (The Falcon And The Winter Soldier)

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier dealt with the same pertinent themes as the Truth: Red, White & Black comics that inspired it, exploring the dark side of Captain America’s origin story.

RELATED: 10 Ways 'Truth' Is The Best Falcon And The Winter Soldier Episode

When Sam Wilson visits Isaiah Bradley, played spectacularly by Carl Lumbly, he learns that the U.S. government tested early versions of the Super Soldier Serum on Black soldiers they considered to be expendable before giving it to Steve Rogers.

3 Ikaris Is A Villain (Eternals)

Richard Madden was the perfect casting choice to play Ikaris in Eternals, because he’s so charismatic and likable that audiences don’t suspect foul play before the twist reveals that he killed Ajak and he’s planning to betray everybody.

After Brightburn and Invincible, Eternals is the latest superhero story to play with the “evil Superman” trope. In many ways, Ikaris is Marvel’s answer to Homelander: a charming yet sociopathic Übermensch.

2 It Was Agatha All Along (WandaVision)

Not many plot twists come with a catchy theme song. Kathryn Hahn was initially introduced in WandaVision as Agnes, a classic example of the “nosy neighbor” trope found in countless sitcoms from Seinfeld to Home Improvement.

However, midway through the series, “Agnes” is revealed to be the disguise used by ancient witch Agatha Harkness. This twist reveal is accompanied by an Emmy-winning musical number.

1 Loki Gets Stranded In The Wrong Timeline (Loki)

The season finale of Loki reveals that the TVA is being controlled by “He Who Remains,” a variant of Kang the Conqueror. In the episode’s shocking final moments, the trickster god is banished from the Citadel at the End of Time.

He thinks he’s just been sent back to where he came from, but it turns out to be much worse than that. Mobius doesn’t recognize him and there’s a statue of “He Who Remains” looming over the TVA, suggesting he’s stranded in a different timeline.

Star Wars Fan Creates Screen Accurate Boba Fett Helmet & Gauntlets

A tenacious Star Wars fan creates screen-accurate Boba Fett helmets and gauntlets based on the bounty hunter’s appearance in the original trilogy. While the character’s first on-screen appearance was technically in 1978's Star Wars Holiday Special, Boba’s first big-screen appearance came in The Empire Strikes Back (1980), in which he was portrayed by Jeremy Bulloch and voiced by Jason Wingreen. Despite his limited screen time, the fact audiences never saw his face, and his untimely demise in Return of the Jedi (1983), Boba has become one of the most popular Star Wars characters of all time.

The prequel film, Attack of the Clones (2002), revealed Boba (Daniel Logan) to be a genetic clone and adoptive son of Jango Fett (Temuera Morrison), also a bounty hunter who possessed the former’s iconic armor long before he became green and rustic. Even after his brief appearance in the prequel, fans craved more Boba and, after many scrapped attempts at a solo film, he was finally resurrected in Disney+’s The Mandalorian with Morrison in the role thanks to a subplot involving his long-lost helmet and armor.

Artist, modelmaker, and painter Blaidon Props on Instagram recently shared photos of replicates inspired by Boba’s armor. The posts outline the truly impressive amount of work being done to re-create the character’s helmet and gauntlets—fully-equipped with darts—from the original trilogy. Check it out below:

Click Here to View the Original Post

Nothing will beat the nostalgia associated with Boba's rustic armor. That being said, Lucasfilm and Disney have already upgraded it quite a bit. After Boba made his triumphant, action-packed, and helmeted return in The Mandalorian’s “Chapter 14: The Tragedy,” Boba immediately cleaned and refurbished his armor in the next episode. At the end of The Mandalorian season 2, a post-credits scene saw Boba kill Bib Fortuna and take over Jabba's Palace. Now, the spin-off The Book of Boba Fett is set to release on December 29, 2021, on Disney+.

No longer employed by the Galactic Empire and far from serving the late Jabba the Hutt, The Book of Boba Fett will follow its anti-hero as he fights for control of the Hutt’s old territory on Tatooine. As seen in the trailer and other promotional images, Boba will be aided in his struggle to build an empire by fine-tuned armor and a slew of new toys. Thanks to the fandom’s reverence for the character, Boba’s upcoming series is arguably the most anticipated in Disney/Lucasfilm’s jam-packed slate of shows including Obi-Wan KenobiAndor, and Ahsoka. If you need proof of this love for Boba, look no further than the time and effort Blaidon Props has devoted to him.

GTA Trilogy Soundtrack: Every Song Missing From GTA 3 Radio Stations

The graphics and gameplay of Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition have faced widespread criticism in the weeks since the collection's release, but the soundtrack has also received a fair amount of backlash. The GTA Trilogy has faced a sizeable fan backlash at launch, with the remasters' lack of polish being exacerbated by the lack of certain features that were present in the original games. Key songs from the franchise's in-game radio stations are missing due to expired copyright licenses, and these omissions are hard to ignore in a collection billing itself as the "definitive" way to experience three of the finest GTA games.

GTA: The Trilogy collects GTA 3Vice City, and San Andreas, all of which are considered to be milestones in not just the open world genre, but the gaming medium more generally. The diverse soundtracks of the GTA: Trilogy games are instrumental in creating immersive settings, and Vice City and San Andreas are particularly known for their time-period appropriate music that takes players into the mid-80s and early-90s respectively. Sadly, copyright issues have led to missing songs in Vice City's 80s-inspired soundtrack and San Andreas' gangsta rap-heavy radio stations. Some of the most iconic songs from both games, such as Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean" from Vice City and N.W.A.'s "Express Yourself" from San Andreas, were first removed from the games on their respective ten-year anniversary mobile releases, and GTA: The Trilogy has not restored the soundtracks to their original glory.

Related: How To Play The Best Version Of The GTA Trilogy

However, although both Vice City and San Andreas are missing some of their most iconic tracks, GTA 3's soundtrack has emerged intact. This is a massive plus for fans wanting to revisit the oldest 3D GTA game, and the reason for its still familiar soundtrack may have to do with Rockstar's modest approach to the game's radio stations. Licensed music wasn't deployed as heavily in the first 3D GTA game as it was in GTA: Vice City and San Andreas, meaning less has been lost in the transition to current gen consoles.

While GTA 3 turned Rockstar into one of the biggest names in gaming, the studio was still a relative underdog when developing the game. Previous GTA titles had featured in-house music created by Rockstar, and a similar approach was used for GTA 3's original soundtrack, which included a large amount of in-house and copyright-free music. While many licensed songs were used, the songs were not as notable as the ones featured in GTA: The Trilogy's other two games. Flashback FM used 1980s pop songs that were featured in the 1983 Scarface film, which was one of (Vice City's biggest inspirations next to Miami Vice), and Game Radio featured hip-hop songs by hardcore east coast MCs such as Sean Price, Royce Da 5'9, and Black Rob. These songs all give GTA 3 a distinct Y2K atmosphere while lacking the expansive soundtracks of later entries.

The full soundtrack may also partly be due to GTA 3's contemporary setting. Unlike Vice City and San AndreasGTA 3 is set in the year in which it was released - 2001. It's difficult to pinpoint which songs in the present will stand the test of time, whereas records from previous decades will have had their legacy cemented. For example, GTA: San Andreas' huge soundtrack is filled almost entirely with classic, immediately recognizable songs that defined the early-90s across multiple genres. On the other hand, GTA 4 returned to a contemporary setting and included fewer massive pop songs than Vice City and San Andreas. This helps explain why GTA 3 featured fewer songs with expensive copyrights than the other games included in Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition.

Animal Crossing Player Hilariously Recreates Home Alone Movie Trailer

A player of Animal Crossing: New Horizons has perfectly and hilariously recreated the movie trailer for the 1990 Christmas classic, Home Alone. The Nintendo hit has given fans the ability to recreate lots of movie and TV moments within Animal Crossing, with the pastime being a favorite game activity for particularly creative players.

Animal Crossing's wide range of decorative items and design tools make it possible to recreate almost any TV, movie, or even game scene. While players have been making in-game recreations since the title released in 2020, the recent November 2.0 update and the paid Happy Home Paradise DLC added a host of new content and features, making it easier than ever to reimagine and build scenes from other media. Creative players have managed to build everything from game recreations using inspirations from The Legend of Zelda, to famous movie scenes from popular hits like Spirited Away in Animal Crossing.

Related: ACNH Player Turns Isabelle's Vacation Home Into New Leaf's Town Hall

Created by YouTuber Great-Bit Arcade and shared to Reddit by mattographer, the impressive take on the Home Alone trailer perfectly reimagines every scene with an Animal Crossing spin. Kevin McCallister, his parents, and even the infamous burglars all make an appearance in the remade trailer, which uses the same music and voiceover as the original for extra authenticity. The two-minute recreation is a true labor of love, complete with additional editing and the help of some other Animal Crossing friends to remake the entire trailer from start to finish. A side-by-side comparison video demonstrates just how much detail went into the trailer, though Great-Bit Arcade has also uploaded the video on its own.

Watch the comparison on YouTube here.

The Home Alone recreation is made possible thanks to a number of Animal Crossing features both new and old. Reactions are cleverly used to emulate Kevin's iconic shocked pose, as well as the fret and worry of his parents once they realize their mistake in leaving him behind. Thanks to newly-released items introduced in the 2.0 update, the airport, store, and McCallister home have all been remade with stunning detail, but perhaps the most impressive part of the recreation is the use of the new camera update added in Animal Crossing, which allows for some truly cinematic scenes with close-up shots.

Great-Bit Arcade's trailer should get Animal Crossing: New Horizons players feeling festive just in time for Christmas, but it seems there could be more on the way to help players add some holiday decor to their islands. The game is known for celebrating real-world holidays in-game, putting a new spin on things like Easter, Christmas, and Thanksgiving, known in ACNH as Bunny Day, Toy Day, and Turkey Day, respectively. According to a new leak, what's believed to be a small update for the holidays could be adding new Christmas items to Animal Crossing, which could help make a Home Alone 2 trailer recreation possible in the future.

Hawkeye's Alt Avengers: Endgame Costume Revealed By Marvel Director

Marvel Studios' Visual Development Director, Andy Park has shared some concept art of one of the optioned looks for Hawkeye's suit in Avengers: Endgame. Jeremy Renner first appeared as Clint Barton/Hawkeye in 2011's Thor, before becoming of the core members of Earth's Mightiest Heroes. The skilled archer took a brief hiatus from his superhero duties during the events of Avengers: Infinity War, but it was Thanos' Snap that brought him out of house arrest as he took on a new alias, Ronin. As Ronin, Barton took to the streets to kill those who he believed did not deserve to have survived.

Despite previously being one of the lesser celebrated members of the original Avengers team, Barton is finally getting some recognition as he is now the central focus of his own Disney+ series, Hawkeye. With just two episodes released so far, the series sees Renner star alongside MCU newcomer Hailee Steinfeld as the beloved comic book character Kate Bishop, as she prepares to take over the Hawkeye name from Barton. Hawkeye episode 1 saw Bishop discover the Ronin costume at an underground auction, which she then donned herself, causing Barton to track her down. The hooded black and gold costume is somewhat reminiscent of the suit originally worn by Ronin in the comics, but now it appears as though this was not the first choice when it came to designing how Barton would appear in Avengers: Infinity War or Avengers: Endgame.

Now, in honor of the new Hawkeye series, the Director of Visual Development at Marvel Studios has taken to Instagram to share an original piece of concept art for Hawkeye's costume in Avengers: Endgame. Park shared that he was asked to create a "high-tech-ish armored look" and that it was similar to the costume that Black Widow ultimately ended up wearing in the Phase 4 film. In the art, Barton can be seen standing in a black suit with purple accents on the armored pieces, bow in his hand, with two pistols in his shoulder holsters. Check out Park's art below.

Click here to view the original post

Park's original concept maintains the use of the classic purple that the Hawkeye character is often associated with, but it is certainly different from the film's final costume design. Park also revealed that at the time this design was conceptualized, the Avengers: Endgame story was still in its early stages, and that Marvel had not yet decided on Hawkeye's Ronin storyline. Park has shared a number of his original designs for Hawkeye's costumes to his Instagram over the past few weeks, revealing that his favorite look was Barton's suit in Captain America: Civil War.

While this suit did not, unfortunately, make the final cut for Avengers: Endgame, the Ronin suit that was chosen in its place is certainly an impressive piece of costuming. It's incredibly interesting to see the early concepts for costume design, particularly for iconic characters such as the Avengers, whose suits often go on to become instantly recognizable within pop culture. With Hawkeye episode 1 and 2 now streaming on Disney+, who knows what unique costumes fans could see Barton appear in in the future.

Genshin Impact 2.4: Enkanomiya Leaks Explained | Screen Rant

Genshin Impact Version 2.4 leaks have already begun to circulate online, including details on the hidden region of Enkanomiya. Shortly after the release of Genshin Impact Version 2.3, dataminers shared some information about the features to be included in 2.4 on various social media platforms. The leaks mainly focus on the specific characters, events, and a new region included in the next update. Although the leaks are yet to be officially confirmed, various aspects from Genshin Impact's prior and current versions may support these claims.

Genshin Impact leakers have remained active online since the initial release, as some fans are curious about the characters and features available in the next update. Leakers may be among the Genshin Impact beta test participants who continue to datamine information despite being prohibited from doing so. With the launch of Genshin Impact 2.4 beta test, leaks spread quickly online as to what to expect in the following update.

Related: Genshin Impact 2.3: Biggest Additions In The New Update

One of the leaks showed the addition of the Enkanomiya region in Genshin Impact's 2.4 update. Although Enkanomiya has been rumored to arrive since the Genshin Impact 2.1 update, some fans were surprised to learn that Enkanomiya will be revealed before The Chasm. However, Enkanomiya has been referenced numerous times in Inazuma's world quests and items, implying that the area will be explorable eventually. The legend associated with Enkanomiya is intriguing and reveals a great deal about the history of Watatsumi island and Inazuma in Genshin Impact, so it will be thrilling to explore this region in the next update if the leaks are accurate.

Since the introduction of Watatsumi Island and the "Moon-Bathed Deep" world quest series, assumptions regarding the Enkanomiya region's accessibility have been a topic of discussion for some Genshin Impact fans. The excitement surrounding Enkanomiya is reminiscent of the period before the Dragonspine region in Mondstadt was unveiled and was just a rumor. Currently, the community of dataminers has provided information confirming Enkanomiya's inclusion in the Genshin Impact 2.4 update. As a result, the anticipation in Enkanomiya as a potential explorable region in the future continues to grow among fans of Genshin Impact.

Twitter user Ubatcha, a well-known Genshin Impact dataminer account online, revealed that the Enkanomiya region would be home to a new world boss. Although there is no further information detailing the attributes of the new boss, the addition of a new opponent might mean new Artifacts and Ascension materials unless the leak is confirmed in the future. Another dataminer, Project Celestia, reported that Enkanomiya is divided into nine subareas and that the environment of Enkanomiya changes appearance with each alternate time cycle, Evernight and Whitenight. Showing an unusual environment might seem to be the typical case of extended regions in each nation in Teyvat. This is particularly evident in Genshin Impact's Dragonspine, a Mondstadt extended region, where the mountainous region is uninhabitable due to the area's exceptionally cold climate. Likewise, if Enkanomiya does become an explorable place, the alternating time cycle might be incorporated as its unusual feature.

Online leaks concerning Enkanomiya are subject to change, as they appear to come from the beta test version of Genshin Impact 2.4. Players may have to wait until January to gain access to the 2.4 version's specific features. Nonetheless, previous quests and certain components from Watatsumi Island may support these claims regarding the mysterious region of Enkanomiya.

In Genshin Impact Version 2.1, players were welcomed to the region of Watatsumi Island, the home of the Sangonomiya, and soldiers of the Resistance. This Inazuma area in Genshin Impact is rich with incredible legends relating to Teyvat's ancient history. The "Moon-Bathed Deep" world quest series provides not just puzzles but also narratives about Watatsumi island's origins. The quest series consists of six missions in which an NPC named Tsuyuko joins the Traveler in breaking the seals on five Goshou rocks and obtaining the Key of the Moon-Bathed Deep to enter Enkanomiya.

Residents of Watatsumi Island were formerly stranded in the depths of the sea known as Byakuya no Kuni, which is now renowned as Enkanomiya. The hidden region is situated near the Sangonomiya Shrine. Byakuya no Kuni translates as "Land of the White Night, Midnight Sun" in Japanese. Though no remark of Enkanomiya's alternating time cycle has been mentioned in the quest and other sources, the translation may confirm the claims of the Genshin Impact 2.4 leaks. According to the Coral Branch of Distant Sea Ascension material, Orobashi, the great serpent god with a fluorescent body covered in myriad-colored coral, first appeared within the nation of ever-night, referring to Byakuya no Kuni. A dragon, known as the Dragonheir of the Depths, once terrorized the people of Byakuya no Kuni.

Related: Genshin Impact's Shenhe & Yun Jin Reveal Shows A Glaring Weapon Issue

The residents mainly rely on the meager light of Orobashi to avoid the claws of the Dragonheir of the Depths. This was explained further in the Jade Branch of a Distant Sea Ascension material description, which tells that the serpent god severed all the coral branches on its body to provide light to the children in the darkness. Moreover, the coral branches of Orobashi were used to construct a massive ladder for the children to reach the surface above Byakuya no Kuni and created the Watatsumi Island in Genshin Impact for them to inhabit. The Dragonheir of the Depth or the Abyssal Dragonheir may likely be an abyssal monster, based on its name. With leaks stating that Genshin Impact 2.4 will have a new boss as part of Enkanomiya, the new boss referred might be the Dragonheir of the Depth.

While the Enkanomiya leaks may seem plausible to happen in Genshin Impact 2.4 update, some fans tend to be skeptical of the authenticity of the leaks. One reason is that some anticipated The Chasm, an extended region of Liyue, to be revealed in 2.4, considering that the location has been included on Teyvat's map, although unexplored, since the first release. Furthermore, the official announcement of Liyue characters Shenhe and Yun Jin implies that additional storylines in 2.4 will revolve around Liyue, maybe including The Chasm in Genshin Impact. However, no official sources are verifying this claim.

Genshin Impact 2.4 is still a long way ahead since the 2.3 update is still in its earlier phase and will take six weeks before it concludes. Nonetheless, it is intriguing to speculate and learn what the following versions may bring. Enkanomiya is just one of the regions to anticipate as more nations uncover in Genshin Impact.

Ethan Hawke Admits He's Spilled Marvel Secrets To His Son

Ethan Hawke has shared his frustration in being unable to disclose Marvel secrets after his casting in Moon Knight, but admits to revealing some to his son. Hawke is confirmed to play the main antagonist in the imminent Disney+ series, which is slated to premiere in 2022. The upcoming Moon Knight will follow a slew of live-action series as part of the MCU's Phase 4, including Wandavision, The Falcon and the Winter SoldierLoki and the recent Hawkeye.

Moon Knight was first introduced in 1975 by Doug Moench and Don Perlin, following Marc Spector on his journey to avenge the innocent after being resurrected from life by the Egyptian moon god Khonshu. Spector operates at night in a full white cape and suit, to alert incoming enemies of his arrival. The long-awaited adaptation of the mercenary vigilante will be played by Oscar Isaac and will feature six episodes in season 1. Moon Knight production began in late April 2021 in Budapest, with filming and production just wrapping up recently.

In an interview with Variety, Hawke shared that he found containing the news of his Marvel casting to himself "so difficult." Marvel Studios is known for its extreme secrecy around new projects, but Hawke capitulated and admitted that he disclosed the secret of his role (and other Marvel tidbits) to his son. According to Hawke, his son proved a resourceful advantage in understanding the backstory behind various characters within the MCU, since he's a big Marvel fan. Check out the clip below for his full response:

Click here to view the original post

Although Disney+ Day delivered the first look at Moon Knight, Hawke's specific role is currently unbeknownst to the public, with fans speculating that he could take on different villainous rivals, such as Dracula. Previously, Hawke mentioned his relief in joining the MCU through Moon Knight, as the relatively unknown hero allows him more creative freedom in portraying his covert title. Furthermore, fans can expect Moon Knight to be different from the classics and parallel to the themes of Marvel’s Daredevil series, as the teaser showcased similar brutal themes of violence and dark adversities as the Netflix show. Moreover, Marvel boss Kevin Feige announced that the show will explore serious topics, such as Spector's battles with dissociative identity disorder (DID) as per the original Moon Knight comic book storyline.

Given Marvel's penchant for extreme secrecy and the intense security that surrounds every new MCU project, it's understandable that Hawke felt the need to confide in someone about his Moon Knight casting. Hawke is by no means the first MCU newcomer to struggle with keeping things under wraps, but it seems that his son has proved a trustworthy confidant, since the actor's involvement in the series wasn't leaked ahead of time. With the introduction of a largely unknown hero like Moon Knight into the MCU, fan speculation and interest will only build ahead of the Moon Knight series' release, so it's comforting to know that Hawke has found a way to get Marvel's secrets off his chest while still keeping the big updates shrouded in mystery.

Tom Holland Reacts To MCU Spider-Man 4, 5 & 6 Announcement

Tom Holland gives his first reaction to the news that he will star in a brand new Spider-Man trilogy. Debuting as the MCU's wall-crawler in 2016 via Captain America: Civil War, the actor went on to play the role four more times. His first solo film was Jon Watts' 2017 Spider-Man: Homecoming, followed closely by Watts' follow-up, Spider-Man: Far From Home in 2019. Holland's fifth outing, Spider-Man: No Way Home, is coming to theaters next month and marks an end to Watts' trilogy about the web-slinging hero.

Marvel Studios and Sony's partnership has been quite successful thus far. Despite that, their agreement almost ended prematurely in 2019. The exact reason for the conflict has remained unknown, but if the studios weren't able to find a middle ground, Holland's Spider-Man would've been pulled out of the MCU after Spider-Man: Far From Home. That would've been a huge disappointment to fans, especially considering that the film ended on a significant cliffhanger. Luckily, both camps opted to renew their partnership. Based on the new deal, Marvel Studios was set to produce only two more Spider-Man films, with Holland previously calling Spider-Man: No Way Home "the end of a franchise" and teasing his potential exit. But now, that's no longer the case, as Sony's Amy Pascal revealed earlier in the week that plans for Holland's Spider-Man 4, 5 and 6 were in the works.

Related: Spider-Man 4, 5 & 6: Marvel/Sony Deal Impact & Spider-Man Universe Future

When this news broke out, Holland was in the process of kicking off the press tour for Spider-Man: No Way Home. During his appearance in the French talk show, Quotidien, the Marvel actor was asked for his response on the matter of his MCU future in light of Pascal's comments. Holland claims he's in the dark regarding specific plans, but expresses his excitement about the possibility of continuing his journey as Spider-Man. Read his full answer below:

"Listen, all I'll say is we have some very, very exciting things to be talking about. I don't know what those things are or what they will transpire to mean. But it looks like it's an incredibly bright future ahead, and as I've said before, Spider-Man will forever live in me."

For years, Holland has been open about how much it means to him that he's able to play an iconic character like Spider-Man. In fact, when Marvel Studios and Sony almost split, he was instrumental in inspiring both parties to work harder in finding a compromise. It's worth noting, however, that there are supposedly no concrete plans yet regarding the new Holland-led Spider-Man trilogy. So perhaps, Holland wasn't just playing coy when he said that he's unaware of what comes next for him. However, chances are that he knew beforehand that continuing his stint as the wall-crawler wasn't outside the realm of possibility, particularly since he so openly teased his potential exit from the franchise.

What makes this interesting is that, before Pascal's announcement, Spider-Man: No Way Home was being positioned to be the end for Holland's hero in the MCU. That checks out based on what's known about Marvel Studios and Sony's latest deal, so fans were convinced that it could very well be Spider-Man's final solo movie in the franchise. That being said, it seems impractical to not continue with this partnership considering how successful it has been thus far, and a continuation of Holland's Spider-Man journey after Spider-Man: No Way Home will certainly be a lucrative decision for both studios — not to mention a huge treat for fans.

Pokémon BDSP's Barry Glitch Is A Real Problem | Screen Rant

Another glitch has been found in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, this time involving the player’s rival, Barry. Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl are Nintendo Switch remakes of the classic Nintendo DS Pokémon games, Diamond and Pearl, and were developed with a focus on keeping the games as close as possible to their original counterparts. Despite this, new features have brought about unexpected exploits and glitches to the games.

Some exploits are rather harmless, such as taking advantage of Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl's new diagonal movement to skip certain Gym puzzles. Other exploits and glitches have resulted in players getting stuck behind BDSP's NPCs, or becoming soft locked. While many of these seem avoidable with careful play, there are some that happen seemingly at random.

Related: Pokémon BDSP Duplication Glitch Explained

One such random glitch has been discovered involving the rival character, Barry. Reddit user nilewater approached their rival for the second battle together, which takes place in Hearthome City. The player’s starter Pokémon, Piplup, had evolved to Prinplup by this point. Barry, who should have had a Grotle evolved from Turtwig for this fight, instead sent out a Prinplup of his own. Barry is one of the Pokémon series rivals whose starter Pokémon has a type advantage over the player’s, meaning he should have kept a member of the Turtwig evolutionary line in his team against a player who started off with Piplup. This glitch removes Pokémon rival Barry’s team consistency in Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl and doesn’t have a clear way to be avoided.

Thankfully, the glitch seems really rare thus far, but other Reddit users have claimed to experience the same thing as nilewater. Because no one has provided any updates on the situation, it’s unknown if the glitch remains after the second battle with Barry. It’s unclear what causes the glitch, although it’s been speculated to have to do with the Grand Underground. It’s possible that parts of players’ save data gets “swapped” in the Grand Underground, which could have altered how these players’ copies of Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl determined what Pokémon team to give Barry.

This data “swapping” in Pokémon BDSP's Grand Underground has also been cited as the potential cause for players’ Pokémon’s nicknames randomly changing during evolution. Although this Barry-related glitch may trip up some players during their playthrough by throwing a wrench in their battle strategies, a Pokémon’s nickname changing temporarily while evolving is ultimately harmless. Still, it’s concerning that players may experience glitches in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl simply by trying to take advantage of all the fun new features the games bring to the table.

Daniel Craig As James Bond: His 5 Best Pre-Title Movie Sequences, Ranked

Ever since Sean Connery’s 007 blew up a drug laboratory in the opening scene of Goldfinger, every James Bond movie has opened with an action-packed pre-title set-piece to draw fans to the edge of their seats before they’re inundated with opening credits and mission-briefing exposition from M. Traditionally, these pre-title sequences begin with Bond in the middle of a mission and end with a triumphant victory for the gentleman spy.

RELATED: Ranking Every Villain In Daniel Craig's James Bond Movies

Daniel Craig’s Bond movies had both traditional Bond openings and unconventional ones that helped to evolve this trope beyond its rigid guidelines. The cold opens of the Craig era saw Bond earning his license to kill, being shot off the roof of a moving train and presumed dead, and nearly crashing a helicopter into a Day of the Dead parade.

5 Quantum Of Solace

Unlike most of the Bond series’ cold opens, the beginning of Quantum of Solace follows on directly from the end of Casino Royale, with Mr. White in the trunk of Bond’s car. After 007 delivers Mr. White to M, he gets into a brutal fight with her double-crossing bodyguard.

This thrilling opening sequence is one of the best parts of the movie, but that’s not saying much about a movie that’s widely regarded to be the lowest point in the Craig era. The pre-title sequence has the same problem as the rest of the movie: it’s exciting, but it’s not very Bondian – it’s more befitting of a generic action thriller than a Bond film.

4 Spectre

Just like Sam Smith’s theme song comes off as an attempt to replicate what worked in Adele’s Oscar-winning Skyfall theme, Spectre’s opening sequence comes off as an attempt to replicate Skyfall’s action-packed everything-but-the-kitchen-sink opening. Set during the Day of the Dead celebrations, this sequence sees a wall falling on Bond, who ends up in a fistfight aboard a helicopter spinning out of control. The action in this sequence is spectacular, but it’s far too CG-heavy. There are so many computer graphics in every frame that the scene plays like a video game.

RELATED: Ranking Every Theme Song In Daniel Craig's James Bond Movies

Bond’s cold opens are traditionally used to show off the impressive work of the stunt team. The Union Jack parachute jump at the beginning of The Spy Who Loved Me is a prime example. In Spectre’s opening, a CG building falls on Bond, then he commandeers a helicopter in front of a CG backdrop.

3 Skyfall

The unforgettable opening scene of Skyfall is one of the only pre-title sequences in which Bond loses. The cold opens usually culminate in a glorious win for 007, like destroying a drug lab (Goldfinger) or dropping Blofeld into a chimney (For Your Eyes Only), but the opening sequence of Skyfall ends with Bond’s supposed death.

On top of being a stunning action sequence, this opening subtly foreshadows the villain twist. M is shown to have a callous disregard for her agents’ lives as she orders Bond to abandon a mortally wounded Ronson and tells Moneypenny to “take the bloody shot” when she’s worried she might hit Bond. M’s attitude throughout this mission establishes that she values MI6’s intelligence goals over the wellbeing of her operatives, which ends up being the reason why she’s targeted by the villainous Raoul Silva.

This sequence has a few great action setups, like a rooftop motorcycle chase and a brutal fight on top of a moving train. Overall, it’s a thrilling set-piece with a subversive climax. Bond plunging into the water below beautifully sets the stage for Adele’s moody, melancholic, Bassey-esque theme song, one of the series’ all-time greatest themes.

2 Casino Royale

A decade after successfully reinventing the Bond franchise with GoldenEye, director Martin Campbell did it again with Casino Royale, a prequel introducing Daniel Craig’s Bond with a captivating origin story. The movie’s pre-title sequence begins with a black-and-white prologue detailing how he got his license to kill. With the visceral hand-to-hand combat and minimalist style of classic old-school spy thrillers, Campbell instantly establishes the rough, gritty tone of the movie in this prologue.

RELATED: 10 Ways Casino Royale Is Daniel Craig's Best Bond Film

Then, the movie gets into full swing with a breathtaking action sequence. Bond chases a perp across a construction site in Madagascar that sees the duo doing mind-blowing parkour from crane to crane. Moments like Bond crashing through a drywall show his inexperience as a newly recruited 00 agent, a running theme throughout the movie.

1 No Time To Die

At 20 minutes in length, No Time to Die’s pre-title sequence is the longest in the series by far. It even opens with a pre-pre-title sequence, explaining Safin’s motivations through his failed attempted assassination of Mr. White. This cold open acts as a direct sequel to Spectre that ends with Bond mistakenly believing that Madeleine has betrayed him and cutting her out of his life.

Bond’s cold opens usually have one breathtaking action moment, but No Time to Die has a bunch: swinging from a bridge, jumping a motorcycle over a parade, showing off the arsenal of gadgets in Bond’s Aston Martin. Pitting 007 against Spectre’s top assassins was a great way to re-immerse fans in the pure escapism of the Bond franchise.

Young Rock Season 2 To Feature Triple H, Undertaker & More WWE Legends

Young Rock season 2 will feature The Undertaker, Triple H, and other WWE legends. Created by Dwayne Johnson and Nahnatchka Khan, Young Rock debuted on NBC back in February. With a trio of actors swapping in and out of the title role, the sitcom has focused mainly on three different periods in Johnson’s upbringing: his childhood, where he grew up around wrestlers, his time in high school, and his stint as a football player at the University of Miami. The show also includes a separate storyline, set in the year 2032, which sees Johnson portraying himself and making a bid for the U.S. presidency.

But as more details have been revealed about the series’ second installment, it’s been confirmed that the sitcom is looking to expand into a new chapter of Johnson’s life. It was previously reported that Young Rock season 2 will feature wrestling legends such as Roddy Piper, Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler, Gene Okerlund, Big John Studd, and Freddie Blassie. Now, with the new season 2 set to premiere on March 15, it’s been confirmed that the NBC comedy will feature iconic characters that represent a more recent era of WWE.

According to PWInsider, casting is currently underway for actors that would portray WWE icons Triple H and The Undertaker. Other names mentioned for Young Rock season 2 include Downtown Bruno Lauer and The Brooklyn Brawler, who was one of the first people to ever have a wrestling match with The Rock, as Johnson was then known. It’s also noted that the series will explore Johnson’s rookie year with WWE.

Young Rock, which will air a special Christmas episode on December 15, has included wrestlers in the past. Some like Matt Willig, who plays the legendary Andre the Giant, take on an importance and appear in multiple episodes. Other WWE characters, like Vince McMahon, only appear in a few scenes. It’s not currently known if the appearances of Triple H, Undertaker, and others will be a significant part of the Young Rock season 2 narrative. Regardless, Johnson’s early run with WWE would be fertile ground for the show to cover. In a similar fashion to his Hollywood career, Johnson didn’t not enter WWE as a megastar. In fact, he was initially loathed and jeered by crowds despite playing a good guy character. The sitcom could get a lot of mileage out of the future icon attempting to find his footing.

Johnson has said in the past that if the series continues for long enough, Young Rock could very well examine his time as a WWE superstar. Since that is happening sooner than some fans expected, perhaps the potential Young Rock season 3 and beyond will shed light on his transition to Hollywood, and audiences may even get a fictionalized version of Johnson's feud with Vin Diesel. In the mean time, however, Young Rock season 2 will focus on Johnson’s journey to becoming The People’s Champion that fans know and love.

Thor: Love & Thunder Is Crazy And Wild, Teases MCU Artist Andy Park

Marvel Studios artist Andy Park teases Thor: Love and Thunder is "crazy wild." Thor: Ragnarok director Taika Waititi is back for Thor: Love and Thunder, which will see Chris Hemsworth reprising his MCU role as Thor Odinson. The sequel marks his eighth outing as the character since he debuted in Kenneth Branagh's Thor. The film will also see the return of Natalie Portman's Jane Foster, who looks set to be become Lady Thor in the new film, while Christian Bale will play the film's villain, Gorr The God Butcher.

Andy Park is the Director of Visual Development for Marvel, having done concept and design work for the MCU since 2011's Thor. Park is responsible for helping to craft everything from costumes to vehicles to settings and more for the MCU, leaving his fingerprints on nearly every major project from the studio in some form or another. The artist has worked on MCU features, as well as the Disney+ shows, including Hawkeye, which is currently running on the streamer.

Related: Loki Might've Set Up Thor's Time-Traveling Villain In Love & Thunder

In an interview with Screen Rant, Park gave his take on what fans can expect from Thor: Love & Thunder in terms of the visual elements, stating the he's excited that he got to work with Waititi on the project, whom he says "shook up the whole franchise" on the new film. Park went on to say that the movie is "crazy wild" and that he "simply cannot wait for everyone to see it." However, Park also says that Waititi's shake up scared him a bit, making him wonder if they were "going too far" with the film. But, he states, that's part of Marvel Studios' history, which is to not "rest on their laurels and just do the expected." He explained, saying:

Exclusive: "There's a reason why there's been over a decade of successful movies and just why this franchise is growing. So Thor: Love and Thunder falls right into that where it's just pushing the boundaries of what's comfortable and what should be expected. You'll be surprised and push these characters and the visuals go along with that. I think [Waititi] said it in some interview where he's just like, he's surprised that he's even, he shouldn't be allowed to make a movie like this. And I get it. This movie is crazy wild. It's so much fun. And I simply cannot wait for everyone to see it. Because it was so much fun to work on and design so many characters and do keyframes for. It's going to be a good one. It's going to be fun."

Waititi is no stranger to shaking things up for the Thor franchise. His MCU directorial debut Thor: Ragnarok was a major shift in tone and style for the character, adding more humor, more action, and a complete redesign of The God of Thunder. The director had made a name for himself as a quirkly, stylish auteur, having crafted unique films like What We Do In The Shadows, Hunt for the Wilderpeople, and Jojo Rabbit, which netted him an Oscar for Best Original Screenplay. Waititi has already completed his next film, Next Goal Wins with Michael Fassbender, and is set to begin work on an adaptation of Moebius and Jodorowsky's The Incal graphic novel.

Thor: Ragnarok was a welcome realignment of Thor in the MCU, although some fans felt it leaned a bit too far into the humor. However, it has continued to be considered a top tier Marvel film. It's the most lucrative of the Thor films to date as well, which have added $200 million to the final tally with each new film. If Thor: Love & Thunder follows suit, it could be the first of the franchise to crack a billion, but that's an uphill battle with theaters still trying to recreate pre-pandemic numbers. Still, with Love & Thunder not releasing until July, there's time to pick up steam and make an attempt to best the previous entries with its "crazy wild" approach.

FFXIV: How to Get Gobbiebag Brown Dye | Screen Rant

Gobbiebag Brown Dye is an exclusive clothing pigment that players can buy from one of the Beast Tribes in Final Fantasy XIV. It is a bright shade of brown akin to a light tone of khaki. Gobbiebag Brown is a superb choice for Glamour enthusiasts wanting to add a soft beige hue to their clothes. It is also a dye that players will need to design a look of nobility for Week 200 of FFXIV's Fashion Report at the Gold Saucer.

The current theme for FFXIV Fashion Report is "Fashion Gatekeeper," which has players dressing up like they're part of an aristocracy. To receive 100 points and be crowned "Fashion Leader," players must wear a Ranger's Hat of Dalamud Red, the Alpine Coat with Currant Purple, any leg piece with Dalamud Red, and the Dhalmelskin Fringe Boots dyed with Coeurl Yellow. However, those wishing to easily complete Week 200 with a passing score of 80 must don the Alpine Coat with a feet piece of Coeurl Yellow and a hands piece with Gobbiebag Brown Dye in Final Fantasy XIV.

To get Gobbiebag Brown Dye in Final Fantasy XIV, players must reach a Reputation of "Friendly" with the Kobold Beast Tribe and purchase the dye from their vendor for 1x Titan Cobaltpiece or 334 Gil. A "Friendly" standing requires that the player have a total of 510 Reputation points with the Kobolds. These points are earned through Kobold Daily Quests, which can be completed daily. Depending on how dedicated players are to helping the Kobolds' cause, achieving a "Friendly" Reputation status with the tribe may take several days to weeks to accomplish. Those who are yet to make contact with the Kobold Beast Tribe in Final Fantasy XIV will need first to complete the quest "Highway Robbery."

To unlock the Kobold Daily Quests in Final Fantasy XIV, speak with Trachraet at X:12.7, Y:12.8 in Limsa Lominsa Upper Decks. His quest, "Highway Robbery," can only be accessed after completing the Level 41 MSQ "In Pursuit of the Past." After a few cutscenes and dialogue, players can begin taking quests from the Kobold NPCs at X: 21, Y:18 in Outer La Noscea. As players gradually rank up their relations, they will be able to purchase various unique items from the Kobold Vendor, such as pots of Gobbiebag Brown Dye.

Alternatively, players can also obtain Gobbiebag Brown Dye in Final Fantasy XIV from the Market Board. However, this method will cost much more than buying the dye from the Kobolds, yet it is a convenient solution for those who have yet to grind the Beast Tribe's Daily Quests.

Halo Infinite Shock Chain Guide: How it Works & Where to Find it

In Halo Infinite, there are plenty of ways to knock the competition out of the water, but getting the shock chain to work is a new level of satisfaction on its own. There are snipes, explosions, and melee kills that are nice, but nothing matches the ability to kill an enemy via association. A shock chain says it in the name where chaining a shock from one player to the other is the ultimate goal and necessary to get the "Watt Say You?" achievement in Halo Infinite multiplayer.

Getting a kill using the chain reaction for the "Watt Say You?" achievement in Halo Infinite can get maddening. First, getting the gun itself is a challenge, and the other part is finding a great map to maximize opportunities to unlock the achievement. A great map option is Highpower, especially on the Total Control playlist, where most players will gravitate near the center of the map, which gives lots of kill opportunities. Another aspect that can tip the scales in getting the achievement is to go up against bots as they can be a bit more predictable.

Related: Halo Infinite: How to Complete The Peerless Warrior Challenge

The Shock Rifle is the best way to get a chain reaction done in Halo Infinite for the "Watt Say You?" achievement. A big reason it's the best weapon is that the electricity arcs from it can get unpredictable. Using something else, such as the Dynamo Grenade, takes the uncertainty up a notch. Picking a Shock Rifle up is difficult as the spawning of the gun is rare, and others can pick up the gun. Another significant point is that the weapon will either be a Stalker Rifle or a Shock Rifle at the spawn points. If a weapon gets spawned on one spawn point, it will not generate the other, meaning players will have to go to another match or spawn point to get the Shock Rifle.

Here is a list of the best spawn locations for the Shock Rifle in Multiplayer:

  • Aquarius: There are two spawn locations. The first is at Blue Base, going down and left with the second location down and right from Yellow Base.
  • Deadlock: On the back and to the left of the spawn points on both Low and High Bases.
  • Fragmentation: The weapon spawn is on the left side of either starting location at the jump pad.
  • Highpower: There are multiple spawns here, with the first two behind the landing pad of either starting base, the next is in the middle area on the right side from the Tower Base location, and the last spot is in the Cave Pit.
  • Launch Site: On the left side of the Bunker Nest from the capture team's beginning location.
  • Streets: Found on the balcony at the Subway

Getting the "Watt Say You?" Achievement in Halo Infinite is tricky, although there is a simple way to get it. Getting a lot of enemies in the same area, as mentioned before, and bringing an Assault Rifle will do wonders. Straightforwardly, knock down a few shields with the Assault Rifle and switch to the Shock Rifle. Hitting the primary target's friend will get the Shock Rifle's Arc to hit the first enemy and then bounce to the next one with the shield down. If players are not finding success with the above method, throw a gun on the ground next to the enemies and fire at it, which will also cause the arcs that can hit the enemies. Another way that is an entirely out-of-the-box, or vehicle, in this case, is to attack a vehicle with the Shock Rifle, which will also damage the enemies inside of it. The "Watt Say You?" achievement will trigger if the enemies inside the vehicle die. At any point, if players feel they are in a sticky situation, they can always use the Grapple Shot to get away from a group of enemies.
