How To Watch Every Jaws Movie | Screen Rant

The Steven Spielberg-created Jaws franchise is arguably the pinnacle of shark attack cinema, but where can all four movies be watched online? While the debate concerning whether or not Jaws truly counts as horror will seemingly never be resolved conclusively, it's nearly undisputed that the 1975 film is a classic, and holds up great over 45 years after its release. Jaws may not be a perfect movie, but it's a terrific one, with likable characters, some truly gut-wrenching deaths, and an iconic aquatic villain whose first full appearance onscreen is legendary. There's also of course the equally iconic score by John Williams.

Jaws is no doubt the king of shark movies, and will seemingly continue to be so for generations to come. That's not to say it's the only good shark thriller by any means, but there's just nothing else really at its level of quality in the sub-genre, even if movies like Deep Blue Sea are very much worth watching, especially for those who enjoy seeing Samuel L. Jackson get devoured by a shark.

Like The Exorcist though, Jaws' greatness didn't really rub off on its sequels.  None of them are in its league — although Jaws 2 actually tends to be a bit underrated — but for Jaws fans and shark flick devotees, they remain required viewing. Here's where to watch all four Jaws movies online.

There's good news for Netflix subscribers who want to experience Steven Spielberg's all-time classic again — or even for the first time — as Jaws is available on Netflix as of September 16, 2021. For those not on the Netflix train, Jaws can also be rented digitally for a going price of $3.99 on all major retailers. Google Play, YouTube Movies, and the Microsoft Store offer Jaws in HD for that price, while iTunes, Amazon Video, and Vudu offer 4K quality. Purchase is also possible for $14.99.

Jaws 2, the only Jaws sequel that saw Roy Scheider reprise the iconic role of Chief Martin Brody, is also now available on Netflix, making for a fun double feature with the original. Also like the original, Jaws 2 can be rented online for a going price of $3.99 on all major retailers. Google Play, YouTube Movies, and the Microsoft Store offer Jaws 2 in HD for that price, while iTunes, Amazon Video, and Vudu offer 4K quality. Purchase is also an option for $14.99.

Jaws 3-D moved the action away from Amity Island, all the way to Florida's SeaWorld amusement park. Dennis Quaid was the lead hero this time out, but that wasn't enough to save it, as Jaws 3-D is, to be blunt, pretty terrible. Yet, in some ways, Jaws 3-D is the perfect pick for a bad movie night, and also available to stream on Netflix. Jaws 3-D is also available to rent or purchase at all the same retailers as the first two movies, at the same price points.

Jaws: The Revenge is another quite bad sequel, but is arguably even more of a "so bad, it's fun" type of pick than Jaws 3-D. The Revenge infamously features a shark that pops up out of the water and roars like a lion when disturbed, and even features Michael Caine in the role that bought him a new house. Jaws: The Revenge completes the Jaws franchise on Netflix, and is again available to rent or buy from the same list of digital providers for the same prices.
