Unsurprisingly, Erika's seemingly unending legal trouble has once again dominated the Beverly Hills housewives' current events. In the past week, everyone from The Real Housewives of New York City alumni to Tom Girardi himself have given their two cents on the heated topic. Fortunately, at least one of Erika's fellow Beverly Hills co-stars had her back this week.
While she might be the most discussed housewife at the moment because of her outstanding legal drama, Erika isn't the only RHOBH star who has been making headlines this week. Sutton Stracke got involved in yet another feud with one of her co-stars during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen. Finally, a beloved Richards sister delivered some disappointing news.
Erika has been at the center of controversy on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 11 due to how much money her ex-husband Tom has been accused of stealing. While some of her co-stars (specifically Sutton) have questioned Erika's innocence, Erika has remained adamant that she had no idea of her husband's wrongdoing. Erika has been determined to deem not only herself innocent, but her ex-husband as well. The Real Housewives star has implied that Tom didn't start acting like a criminal until signs of Dementia started to exhibit themselves. This week, however, Tom didn't offer Erika the same generosity she's showed him on Beverly Hills. In a video shared by Page Six, a paparazzo asked Tom, "Did Erika know anything?" In a surprising turn of events, Tom replied, "I think she does."
Despite the fact that the dubious Camille Grammer hasn't been a main housewife since RHOBH season 2, but she has still managed to remain relevant within the cast throughout the decade since her departure. Recently, Camille took to her Twitter to explain that she had heard the rumors of Tom and Erika's legal issues when "One of the housewives mentioned it at Andy’s baby shower." When pressed for more details, Camille clarified that the reality star that had spilled Erika's inevitable legal issues is "A west coast HW. A so-called 'good friend' of hers." She also had some positive tweets this past week, such as celebrating Sutton and Garcelle Beauvais, whom she thinks, "[come] across authentic and real."
While it is true that Bethenny Frankel might not be returning to The Real Housewives of New York City, she is still continuing to stir the pot in her retirement. On her podcast, Just B with Bethenny Frankel, Bethenny explained that her late ex-boyfriend Dennis Shields knew that Tom and Erika didn't have the money they flaunted on Beverly Hills. Bethenny recalled Dennis saying, "[Tom] doesn't have money. He owes everybody money." Bethenny claimed that she's known this "worst-kept secret" among lawyers since May 2018. In response to Bethenny's claims, Erika's lawyer told Page Six that "This is another example of people trying to throw dirt on Erika."
From Bethenny claiming that every lawyer knew she was broke for years to Tom selling her out, Erika has had a tough week. Luckily, one unexpected Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member made a positive comment about the former Chicago star. The highly-anticipated RHOBH season 11 reunion was filmed on Friday, September 10, and some housewives have been sharing what the showdown was like. In an interview with The Daily Mail, Garcelle shared that she found Erika to be "honest" while they filmed the reunion. Even though Garcelle is on Team Sutton, the housewife acknowledged that Erika "was really honest and she really said a lot of things we wanted answers to but we were not sure she would divulge."
One of the most surprising delights of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 11 has been the addition of Kathy Hilton. From her zany catchphrases to her mellow vibe, audiences can't get enough of the eldest Richards sister. While it's great to have Kyle Richards and Kathy on the cast at the same time, fans have been hoping that former RHOBH star Kim Richards would return to complete the Richards sisters trifecta. Alas, Kim is unfortunately not sold on coming back to reality TV. With that said, when asked if she'd join Kyle and Kathy on the next season, Kim swiftly responded, "Probably not."
From Crystal Kung-Minkoff to Erika, Sutton has been involved in a lot of feuds on RHOBH season 11, but she's not done making more enemies yet. During a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live, Sutton shared that she found Lisa Rinna hypocritical for being mad at Garcelle for not thanking Harry Hamlin for bringing her pasta sauce. Sutton explained that RHOBH power couple Lisa and Harry never thanked her for bringing them to an Elton John gala a few years ago. Meanwhile, Andy Cohen shared that Lisa responded to Sutton on her Instagram Story in real time. Alas, Lisa insisted that she and Harry were invited by Elton, not by Sutton. Frustrated by Lisa's counterargument, Sutton clarified that she spent $10,000 each for their tickets. Ultimately, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star let go of the fight as Sutton justified, "Maybe that's a miscommunication."
