Deathloop has many interesting and unique features that make it stand out against other action-adventure first-person shooters. The story of Colt Vahn is an increasingly intricate and violent one as he fights his way around the Isle of Blackreef. As the story progresses, new and brutal ways of killing Colt's enemies become available.
Throughout Colt's journey, players will solve a variety of puzzles in Deathloop, such as the Fristad Rock secret location, some of which are part of the main story. Several mysteries lead to unique ways of taking out Colt's targets. One of the more ferocious ways of assassinating a Visionary involves the Meat Grinder.
Unlocking the ability to throw Aleksis into the Meat Grinder has several steps that can be completed during his Visionary lead mission, Devouring of the Lambs. Colt has the opportunity to kill each of the Visionaries in a uniquely horrifying way. Taking out Aleksis involves sneaking into his party in Dorsey Mansion in Updaam, the same district as Colt's Apartment. and activating a trap door at the right moment to grind him up. Colt is particularly happy with this option, and taking him out this way will unlock a trophy.
In order to infiltrate Aleksis' party, players must travel to Updaam at night and locate Dorsey Manor, the large mansion with Deathloop's Updaam Cave Safe beneath it. There is a silent and sneaky way to enter the party that will avoid combat with the many Eternalists inside. Use the billboards near the front door to get up to the roof and keep going to find an open window. Alternatively, turn left near the front, go up the stairs, and enter through the side door (this entrance will put players right above the stage). Be mindful of the guards outside while using this method. Interacting with the music-maker inside will unlock the option to lure Aleksis out, but the code isn't needed to use the grinder.
Head into Aleksis' Office and use the window overlooking the hallway to get down onto the scaffolding on the right. Crouch behind the small wall and locate the red button. The button controls a trap door on the stage. After getting to this point, all that's left for players to do is wait for Aleksis to come out onto the stage. He will be toting two golden SMGs instead of one, and he begins telling jokes when he's on stage. As soon as he's in place, press the button to drop Aleksis into the Meat Grinder. Doing so will award players with the Alpha Burger trophy.
The Meat Grinder isn't the only way to take Aleksis out. Players can go in loud and attempt to kill him and everyone else at the party, but there is an abundance of Eternalists attending that event that makes this option difficult. There is also the option to lure him out to the dance floor and shoot him, but it's not nearly as satisfying as the Meat Grinder. Each Deathloop Visionary has a special assassination opportunity, but dropping Aleksis into the Meat Grinder is one of Deathloop's most vicious ways of defeating a boss.
