One of the mobile titles in the Kingdom Hearts series, Kingdom Hearts Union X (KHUX), received its final story update back in May in Japan. In it, several loose ends that tied into other parts of the series were finally resolved, but there are still quite a few questions left up in the air, and it seems like Kingdom Hearts fans will have to wait for future games in order to get concrete answers. For the moment, here's a general overview of how Kingdom Hearts Union X's story concluded.
Kingdom Hearts is known for having a convoluted story with a vast and interconnected timeline. Some games exist just to set up or flesh out events that take place in earlier-released titles, such as 2010's Birth By Sleep, precursor to 2002's Kingdom Hearts. Kingdom Hearts Union X takes place before any other entry in the franchise, set in the era before the Keyblade War so it can establish the backstories of characters who would become important in other Kingdom Hearts games.
Given how difficult it can be to follow the lore of the series, even now that it's begun consolidating titles and releasing past Kingdom Hearts titles across new platforms such as PC, anyone who hasn't played through or watched previous KHUX story updates should probably do so before diving into its ending, which wraps up plotlines that were established much earlier on in the mobile game's life. Naturally, there will be significant spoilers up ahead.

It was revealed that the Master of Masters had been raising his pupils as vessels for Seven Darknesses - powerful entities which require physical forms in order to be completely destroyed. In an effort to attract them, he set up the lie of there being a traitor among them in order to fuel discord among the apprentices. Following this revelation, the Master of Masters as well as one of the Darknesses ends up in Quadratum, the realm Sora was sent to in Kingdom Hearts 3. Luxu then possesses Brain and travels to the world of Scala Ad Caelum, which was shown to have been founded by Ephemer following his escape from the destruction of the world. Elrena, Lauriam and Ventus are also shown escaping the world, setting up their appearances in later games of the series. For the time being, the fate and location of Skuld remains a mystery that will likely be solved further on down the line.
However, one of the biggest questions throughout the game has been about what happens to the player character. Seeing as it would be difficult for Square Enix to implement a fully-customizable character into later entries of the franchise, it was uncertain what their fate would be, especially given their growing importance throughout KHUX's main storyline. The answer to the question is provided during the final update, in which the player willingly becomes a cage for one of the Darknesses.
Ephemer traps them within a portal and seals one side so that the player character can seal the other, effectively trapping them. After sacrificing themselves, the player character is given the choice to either merge with their Chirithy and become a Dream Eater or get reborn as a new heart. They choose the latter option, revealing that the player character goes on to become Xehanort, the primary antagonist of the Kingdom Hearts franchise.
