During season seven of RHOBH, Eden Sassoon was featured as a "friend of" through her relationship with Rinna. In one episode, the women went out shopping in Los Angeles, and Rinna began venting to Eden about Kim Richards, who was recently arrested for stealing at the time. Rinna claimed Kim was still drinking and was "close to death." Eden was shocked by the revelation, as she lost a sister to alcoholism. When she relayed the news to the other housewives, it got back to Rinna, who claimed she did not remember saying anything of the sort.
While on their cast trip to Amsterdam in season five, Rinna and Kim Richards got into a huge blowout fight, which resulted in broken glassware. After Rinna brought up Kim's sobriety by relating it to her sister, who died of a drug overdose, Kim lost it and brought up Lisa's husband, Harry Hamlin. Kim said, "Let's not talk about the husband." Rinna was furious and began screaming at Kim. She also slammed a wine glass on the table, resulting in the group leaving the restaurant.
In season six of the Bravo series, speculation surrounding the validity of Yolanda Hadid's Lyme disease was the main topic of discussion. In fact, Rinna brought up the possibility of Yolanda having Munchausen syndrome, a disorder where someone fakes an illness or psychological trauma to draw attention or sympathy to themselves. The disease was something Rinna heard from a person she knew, though she never disclosed who it was. The storyline became a large part of season six, resulting in Yolanda no longer trusting Rinna.
One of the most infamous meltdowns in the history of RHOBH occurred when Kim Richards returned the bunny Rinna bought her newborn grandson. During the season seven reunion, Kim returned the gift because she felt Rinna's intentions weren't pure when she gave it to her. She clarified she was very superstitious and felt the bunny had bad energy. Rinna infamously cried a single tear and immediately walked off stage. Kim attempted to apologize, but Rinna didn't want to hear it and ignored Kim for the rest of the reunion.
