Andrei Castravet hasn't been a popular cast member on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 6, but the Moldovan man actually has viewer support in his latest clash with his wife Libby and her dramatic family. Andrei has been at war with the Potthast family all season due to Libby's siblings Charlie, Becky, and Jenn being deeply suspicious of his intentions with their father Chuck's house flipping business. However, 90 Day Fiancé fans surprisingly took Andrei's side when he discovered Libby had hired a babysitter for their daughter behind his back.
The recent episode of Happily Ever After revealed more Potthast family drama and has stirred up more rumors of their plot lines being scripted. Likewise, Libby and her sisters are once again being called out. The only thing that has changed is that viewers actually sympathize with Andrei. Though he was surprisingly able to endure the Potthast family reunion, things soured when Becky revealed that Libby had a babysitter -- information that Andrei did not know about. Andrei was furious to discover the betrayal since he had made it clear he didn't want a stranger taking care of his daughter. However, Libby and her sisters were quick to attack Andrei's emotions and say he didn't trust his wife's judgment.
One viewer took to Reddit to call out Libby for her bad behavior in Sunday night's episode in a post titled "Libby was wrong for not telling Andrei about the babysitter." The user expressed that Andrei's reaction was completely normal since Libby hadn't informed him or consulted him about who would be around their daughter. "You never bring a stranger around your child without telling the other parent. I get that Libby wanted a babysitter. But going about it sneakily wasn’t the way. She should have just put her foot down and gotten the babysitter and told him," the user ranted. Other viewers agreed that they were actually on Andrei's side for once and Libby had crossed a line.
Others added that it was flat out wrong of Libby and her sisters to gang up on Andrei and it appeared apparent that the Potthast family was trying to stir up drama. "I can’t believe I am on Andrei's side. Libby is disrespectful, shady, and irrational for getting a babysitter behind his back. His concerns are totally valid and now he’ll be less likely to want a stranger watching his child… rightfully so. That made me so so so so freaking mad," one commenter agreed. Some viewers pointed out that Libby would have been livid had the roles been reversed. "He had every right to be pissed off. If roles were reversed & SHE was working in an office all day & he went & hired a babysitter behind her back she’d be livid, and her whole nosey ass family would be all up in their business even more," another fan added.
This isn't the first time the Potthast family members have been accused of being hypocritical. Many viewers think that Libby's siblings are completely out of line for their attacks against Andrei given that Charlie, Becky, and Jenn all have criminal pasts. While viewers seldom like Andrei, they have expressed that the Potthast family can be even worse behaved. Andrei has hinted off-camera that he will be exposing his in-laws for their bad behavior and shady pasts on an upcoming episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? Though many viewers are tired of seeing the Potthast family drama, some are looking forward to watching Libby's messy siblings being exposed.
