Spider-Man 3 Art Imagines Doc Ock Attacking Spidey in His New Gold & Black Suit

Spider-Man: No Way Home fan art shows Spidey battling Doc Ock in his new black and gold suit. Like most Spider-Man movies, Tom Holland has gotten a number of suits since he first appeared in Captain America: Civil War. Spider-Man got his first major upgrade in that movie thanks to Tony Stark and would later get his “Iron Spider” suit in Avengers: Infinity War. Nick Fury supplied Peter Parker with a black stealth suit when he went undercover in Spider-Man: Far From Home before the web-slinger crafted his current black and red suit using Stark technology.

Spider-Man: No Way Home seems to be introducing two more suits, as revealed by recent Spider-Man merchandise. The first suit, known as the "Integrated Suit," is a mix of Peter's Iron Spider suit and his black and red costume from Far From Home. While this has similarities to his past suit, a Funko Pop for No Way Home indicated that Spidey will also be equipped with some type of mystical item that hasn't been revealed yet. The other suit is drastically different from what audiences have seen before, with a black base and gold webbing.

Both have drawn considerable interest since they were revealed, and now a new piece of artwork from Venomhology imagines Spider-Man using his black and gold suit in a battle against Doc Ock. The art shows Spider-Man with a shattered eye lens and Doc Ock's tentacles wrapped around him. Check out the original post below:

Spider-Man: No Way Home may be introducing new suits, but the sequel has some familiar villains returning. Past villains from Holland's movies like Jake Gyllenhaal's Mysterio and Michael Keaton's Vulture haven't been confirmed. However, antagonists from both Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield's iterations of Spider-Man have. Alfred Molina is reprising his role of Otto Octavius from Sam Raimi's Spider-Man 2, and Jamie Foxx is returning as Electro from Marc Webb's The Amazing Spider-Man 2. With the inclusion of these actors, as well as reports that Maguire and Garfield themselves might be appearing, it's widely believed that Spider-Man: No Way Home may be a live-action Spider-Verse movie.

As mentioned above, the Integrated suit looks to have some sort of mystical power, yet there is essentially nothing known about the black and gold outfit. It looks similar to the Anti-Ock suit from the PS4 Spider-Man game, and since Molina is returning as Doc Ock, that theory shouldn't be completely ruled out. However, since the costume has only been seen in merchandise and toys for the film, there is very little evidence to support any theories regarding the black and gold suit. Spider-Man: No Way Home comes out in December, so it shouldn't be too much longer before Marvel releases a trailer and possibly gives a better look at how the suit ties into the film.
