Fans of 90 Day Fiancé are getting sick of the endless spin-offs, and some fans have proposed a bold new idea for the franchise. Viewers are tired of seeing the same couples on near-identical series where everything feels recycled and have suggested a “fight club” series to spice things up. The new spin-off that fans came up with is unconventional, but would certainly revitalize the franchise. Though TLC is unlikely to greenlight the proposed spin-off, that didn’t stop fans from joking about the possibilities.
Ever since 90 Day Fiancé became a smash hit, the network has launched several spin-off series to capitalize on the popularity of the original show. But the new shows haven’t all been hits, and the most recent spin-off, 90 Day: Foody Call, is not popular with fans of the franchise. Viewers have been critical of the spin-off concepts as well as the couples included on the shows, and many are complaining of burn out.
Fans proposed a competitive fight club-style show as an alternative to the same old spin-offs the franchise keeps producing. It didn’t take long for more commenters to jump on the idea and come up with some ideal fight pairings and creative matches. Some suggested Colt Johnson and Big Ed Brown as a great match up, though others wanted to see Anfisa Arkhipchenko take down Big Ed instead. Fans also proposed a “hair pulling match” between Angela Deem and Rebecca Parrott and a “shrug off” between the often apathetic season 8 stars Mike Youngquist and Jovi Dufren.

Though it’s fun to joke about the idea of "90 Day Fiancé: Fight Club," it’s a very unlikely spin-off. Some commenters rightfully pointed out that the liability would be a nightmare, given that the cast members run the gamut of age and fitness levels. Plus, even though the franchise has featured some epic fights, much of the time matches between two non-professional fighters can often be a let down. In reality, there’s no way the proposed spin-off could ever happen, but that’s not going to stop fans from dreaming.
Although a 90 Day Fiancé spin-off featuring actual fighting is highly unlikely, a show that incorporates physical competition could be entertaining. It would give the cast members a new way to interact that isn’t shouting matches on the Tell All episodes, and it could refresh the franchise in a whole new way. Casting new couples is one way to keep the franchise from getting stale, but the network might want to pay more attention to what fans want, because even their wildest spin-off ideas have potential.
