A new video and image from The Flash's filming reveal another Batman appearing in the film, which could be Ben Affleck's iteration. Once the DCEU was established in 2013 via Zack Snyder's Man of Steel with the introduction of Superman, the franchise followed it up with the debut of its Caped Crusader. Unlike his predecessors, this version of the Dark Knight was older and at the end of his career which offered new narrative opportunities with regard to the character.
While there was initial skepticism around Affleck's casting as the new Batman, he proved naysayers wrong in 2016's Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. Despite the film being divisive, the actor's performance as the Caped Crusader was one of the best parts of the blockbuster. His second and final appearance was in Justice League (both theatrical and Snyder's new version), as he eventually walked away from the superhero gig. Now, however, he's back reprising his DCEU role in Andy Muschietti's The Flash film starring Ezra Miller as the titular hero.
The Flash has been in production for quite a while now with various content from the set offering the public an idea of what to expect from the project. So while Warner Bros. and DC Films have been mum about story elements of the movie, fans have been speculating about the movie's narrative. Recently, a video from Luiz Fernando was taken in Glasgow, Scotland where principal photography is in full swing. The source also claims that this could be Affleck's Batman going for a spin in Gotham. Check out the photo and clip below:

Michael Keaton, who reprises his role as Bruce Wayne from the Tim Burton films, has already been spotted on the set of The Flash numerous times. While the idea is that he returns as Batman, he hasn't been seen wearing the superhero's iconic cowl and cape. Instead, he's been mostly in a suit, implying that he might only be back as Batman's alter ego. The standalone project's multiversal nature allows Keaton and other incarnations of the Dark Knight to appear in the blockbuster. But, since Affleck's version exists in the same continuity as Miller's Barry Allen, not to mention the pair's relationship as established in Justice League, his involvement makes much more sense.
That being said, chances are that the person riding the Batmobile for The Flash isn't Affleck; he's most likely not even on set at all as he has been spotted elsewhere. Assuming that his version of the Caped Crusader is indeed involved in Miller's upcoming solo flick, it's curious if he will be somehow involved with filming. As it is, the actor is officially out of the DCEU, with Warner Bros. set to introduce a brand new version of the iconic superhero through Matt Reeves' The Batman starring Robert Pattinson.
