Unlike other Massive Anomaly Remnants in Solar Ash, the Withered Eye of the Eternal Gardens features a unique boss battle, forcing the player to fight on its floating moon rather than on the ground. In addition, it's an enormous multi-legged creature with massive eyes that creepily follow the player in a nightmarish manner. Fortunately, the Withered Eye's attack pattern is not as daunting as its disturbing design and won't give the player as much trouble as other bosses in Solar Ash.
However, the fight's challenge comes in the platforming segment, when the player must hastily rush across its oddly-shaped abdomen to attack its weak spots. During the Withered Eye boss battle in Solar Ash, it's easy to become bewildered while navigating all the turns and twists on its body. The key to keeping focus during the madness is to always look for a red pulse-like line, which will lead Rei to the next area to strike.
The Withered Eye's primary attack is a hand slam that is reasonably predictable thanks to the large circle that appears before it strikes. Solar Ash players should know that weak points will spawn on the large hands once the boss finishes this attack. Using dash to dodge out of the way, follow the pulsing red lines to see where to strike. Once all the weak points on the Withered Eye's hands have been dealt with, Rei can grapple onto the rear end of the monster and slash it from its back. With the red marker showing players where to go, this segment shouldn't be too difficult.

Phase 2 of the Withered Eye will remove some sections of the bone plates on the beast's abdomen and force the player to work faster, as failing to slice a weak point in time will result in losing a shield. Repeat the process of the previous stage in a speedrun-like fashion to advance in this Solar Ash fight.
The final stage is where the Voidrunner's platforming skills will be put to the test. After avoiding the boss's opening attack, quickly skate across the moon, slashing at the weak spots on the hands. Remember to follow the red lines to see where to go next. After grappling onto its rear, begin striking at the weak points. Much of the bone plating will have been destroyed, and the tentacles jutting from its body will be glowing red and deadly to touch. Focus on dashing and grappling and only use double jump to reposition Rei. Follow the red pulsing path of weak points until bringing down the final blow on the boss. Afterward, the player will watch the victory cutscene in Solar Ash before progressing the story.
Solar Ash is available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC via the Epic Games Store.
