Tiffany Franco Smith has seen herself become a villain on season 6 of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? and viewers are now comparing the mother to her fellow 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way star Deavan Clegg. Both American mothers fell for men from other countries and had children with them despite barely knowing them. Now, both Tiffany and Deavan are locked in unhappy situations that they don't take responsibility for. Viewers took the opportunity to compare both women as Tiffany continues to air her relationship drama.
Season 6 of Happily Ever After has focused on relationship problems between many of the featured couples. Tiffany and her husband Ronald Smith are one of the duos who have divorce looming over their heads. Though Ronald is a flawed father and husband, fans have called Tiffany out for constantly bringing up his criminal history. The mother takes every opportunity to remind audiences that her husband is a gambling addict with a checkered past. Fans dislike Tiffany's attitude and don't sympathize with the unhappy situation she has landed herself in since Ronald has not had his U.S. visa approved yet. Viewers instead feel bad for children Daniel and Carley who are trapped in a bad situation.
One viewer took to Reddit to call out Tiffany. "I know I’m not the only person that thinks this but Deavan and Tiffany are so much alike and they have so many similarities 1. Getting pregnant by men they don’t know that well 2. Complaining like all the damn time 3. Having their other children refer to the men as 'Dad' 4. Not knowing these men well enough or the countries + cultures they are going to," the user wrote before adding that Tiffany was marginally more likable than Deavan. Viewers agreed that both women were very similar in the way they bashed their husbands. "1. Did you know Ronald had a gambling addiction? 2. It’s Jihoon’s fault," one top comment reads. "Ronald has a gambling addiction and it's Jihoon's fault," a viewer wrote back in a nod to the two women blaming their husbands for everything wrong in their lives.
While Deavan and Tiffany drew comparisons, many viewers agreed that Tiffany was by far the better parent. "I agree. Only difference is, Tiff seems to discipline & have a great child and Devanns throws puppies," one commenter observed. "Protect Daniel at all costs! He’s such a great boy and she did an amazing job raising him. Deavan did a horrible job with baby Dracula," another fan agreed. Another viewer added that at least Tiffany worked as well. Viewers also found another comparison between the two women since they both also have very unlikeable mothers. "Yessss I never thought of it this way but I totally agree. Also with a crazy conniving mom who acts like her daughter can do no wrong," one viewer added.
While Tiffany continues to appear in new 90 Day Fiancé franchise content, Deavan's journey with TLC appears to have ended. She is currently engaged in a feud with Teen Mom star Jenelle Evans and recently shocked viewers with her dramatically aged appearance. Additionally, Deavan is currently still married to her estranged husband Jihoon Lee even though she has controversially replaced him with her boyfriend Topher Park, who she deems to be the father of Jihoon's son. Overall, both Tiffany and Deavan are receiving plenty of viewer disapproval. Hopefully, Tiffany will be able to redeem herself in new episodes of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? -- or at least reach a relationship decision for the sake of her children.
